So how was your morning - scam callers
I got a message this morning that I was going to be arrested for some outstanding warrant from SSA. Knowing this was a hoax...different that the other hoax. I called them back. At first they tried to do their scam and I simply told them they were low life bottom feeders and they continued to insist they were sending the police to my house. They also asked me if I somebody else name so I said, Yeah that me and I told them my SS number was their telephone number...over the next hour I continually called them back(like 220 times) harassing the harassers...
After I told them I was going to call them every minute starting from 2AM until 4AM they finally got the message and had their phone number disconnected.
I love to turn the tables on people...they wanted to be the harassers and I told them I was King Harasser and that I was going to continue to call until April 7th since I had nothing better to do until then.
Normally I wouldn't even bother but being stuck in the house with nothing better to do at 9AM I figured I'd give them a good taste of their own medicine....they were not ready for any of it and the guy started calling me names...I would say so the SSA is going to call me names??? they would hang up and I just call right back...over and over again...
But I got them to disconnect the number and I prevented them from for at least today from hassling others...plus they seemed to really hate being harassed...imagine that....LOL
They have blocked my phone and my girlfriend's after I kept calling them.
I'd waste as much of their time as I could before asking for "Habibi the goat f$%ker".
That would always set them off.
Surprised they didn't block you after half a dozen calls.

Best laugh I've had all week!

You should have heard the frustration in the guys voice..after a while some women would come on and then hang up. I would just call back over and over again unrelenting for an hour. Not until I told them to expect 2AM calls did they disconnect the number.
I love fucking with these people.
But there was a guy on our answering maching (yes still have a landline) and he did his whole spiel and then kept saying hello. It was a real person. I felt bad for him. That is his job. Who cares about some fool in India doing the dirty work...this guy I just wished I could ask him is email address and I'd send him $20. It's a rough job, horrible job, nobody likes you, people hate you and he is just trying to go home at the end of the day and have a normal life. I normally still fuck with these people, but this guy seemed different. Anyway, telemarketing...we should ban all foreign telemarketing.

Some have honest jobs selling things on line...this was a scam to get my SS number and name...plus he got me when I had nothing to do and stressed so I wasn't in too good of mood to deal with it...most of the time I just delete the message or ignore the call...Yesterday he just got me in the wrong mood with time to kill...he did not expect the response. But I did get them to disconnect the number put them out of business for a few hours or a day until the get an new number but they probably won't be calling me anytime soon
Right, I was incorrectly conflating scams with random telemarketing. Fuck a scammer. Wish we could somehow scam them, I guess the best we can do is dick with them on the phone. Giving a phone number as a social security number is a good one. I will do that in the future!

They just got me on the wrong day in the wrong mood...
I was so surprised when they asked me if my names was Joe somebody and I said yeah sure that's me and here's my SS number...I relentlessly called them back for an hour. They'd hang up I'd just push the call button on the message...they tried sending me to voice mail...I'd hang up and call right back. First it was some guy then a woman would come on. I'm sure they thought I was really going to call them until 4/7 and at 2am - 4am...LOL
. . .I said yeah sure that's me . . .
DO NOT EVER SAY "YES" OR ANY AFFIRMATIVE REPLY. It could be recorded and used to impersonate you in fraud schemes, credit, loans, combined with your info details they have gathered.
My name isn't Joe....If they asked me my real name I wouldn't said anything...But I will take your advice from now on

I doubt the in-person calls from Goatf*cker are voice copy scams. The "Yes" recording definitely happens on the prerecorded calls, where you are asked a yes or no question at the start, like "Can you hear me?" or "Would you like to go on a free cruise?" You say yes, then the call goes on. I tested it out I answered "Sounds fantastic", call cut off. Call does not continue until you say "Yes". Then it goes into some bogus spiel, you get connected to, yep, Goatf*cker.
Varying opinions - Snopes rates it "unproven", but why give them what they want, at some point they might be able to use it.
Might be just a timesaver for scammers, a way to target working numbers. Who knows. Kill em all.

It was a call that went to my voice message that said there is an arrest warrant issued by SSA for me...When I called back all they said was "SSA How can I help you" and the rest is just pure harassment back at them.

Exactly.
SS is one of their scams, the other being an arrest warrant will be issued, local cops, etc.
The message left is from an obvious computer generated voice.
Call them back and you get Indian/Pakistani accents.
This is just one of them:

Thanks.
On facebook I posted about this and shared the number they used.
Had my friends call them and make sure to mention "Habibi the goat f%$ker" so they knew where this was coming from.
Lots of laughs from the responses my friends got.
Nice work.
Most of this is from India . I looked up the name of the chief of the India CIA, Arvind Kumar, also a street name that is a big street in every city in India. I ask them to repeat their intro slowly and clearly then I read them this, they listen to the whole thing then hang up without a word:
Thank you for your cooperation. Your voiceprint is now property of
MG Road Local Auxilary Branch United Nations Electronic Terrorism Task Force. For your information this number is a honeypot for communications fraud investigation. We have been delegated authority by Arvind Kumar Director of The India Intelligence Bureau, New Delhi, to carry out action upon your person. The Intelligence Bureau has declared international communications fraud to be terrorism and has given us permission to use any and all methods at our disposal to eliminate this threat. If you cooperate with our investigation and provide us with information Director Kumar has requested we exercise leniency in your case and to offer amnesty conditional upon your assistance. On behalf of the India Intelligence Bureau, the United Nations Electronic Terrorism Task Force looks forward to your civil and peaceful behavior upon your arrest. If not, we are authorized extreme extrajudicial impunity in the termination of electronic terrorists. Please await further instructions. FCCI40-3
Clicked "post" before adding anything.
I think I'm gonna print this out.
Mostly i say "Hello, how can the FBI help you today?" The FBI is a local barbecue place (Fresh Air Barbecue, Inc.)

Hey Jerry - nice to see you peeking out from your foxhole. Haha yeah, my "voiceprint" strategy is good and scary, attacks their defense of untraceable anonymity, and hopefully creates rumors among their ranks Like "Nah that voiceprint i.d. thing is most likely b.s. but, hmm, then again I suppose it is possible". . . India is deathly afraid of its Intelligence Bureau. The idea behind "MG Road" is wherever they are in India there is a main drag "MG Road" nearby, so they think they are talking to someone in their city. "MG Road" sounds so familiar that as it registers they don't notice their city name is not mentioned!
Psy-ops, man!I do have trouble saying "extrajudicial impunity" tho, it is kind of a tongue twister.

You could have said "We have been allowed to proceed with extreme prejudice in these matters and use at our discretion any means to stop said electronic terrorism including termination of said terrorists by any means we see fit to do so. you might want to duck. Like, right NOW!"
