The ironic thing is how the president condemned the NFL and its players for their actions regarding the playing of the national anthem yet he's praising Rosanne Barr in spite of her disrespectful and immature performance. They clearly both deserve each other.

I definitely see a trend in the age of Trumpism. Racists, emboldened by their guy in the Whitehouse and from living in their own echo chamber, seem to let their guard down. It sucks in that it seems like racists are more bold now than they've been since the '60s, but at least they seem to be getting exposed and their true colors are out there for everyone to see.
