Thanks Gondi!
Whatevah PCB.
Tickets have been a breeze to score this year. My neighbor has season tickets. I'm his designated driver so I get to as many games as I want to suffer through. The only problem game was the Monday Night Cowboys/Redskin match up. My brother in law and nephew (Cowboy fans) flew in from Denver, so I paid face value for 4 and a parking pass. I believe you could have gotten half off lower bowl tickets for every other game and Club Levels were going for a third of the face value.

I like Pitt in the AFC, but being down a couple of RB"s hurts.
NFC, not so sure. GB wont make it out of Washington. THey have been way to up and down.
Carolina is good, but they have beaten some weak teams.
I would like to see the Cardinals make it, and give Seattle a beat down on the way!!
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Happy Birthday, Bart Starr -- Packers hero -- one of the greats

this isn't about "Patriots fans". It's about me not giving a sh!t. 😛
sh!t. Well at least you got one thing right about the Patriots.

I am not a Cincy Bungles fan but I have been I guess a Marvin Lewis apologist over the last few years. People have been calling for him to go for a while and I always thought he was a good coach.
After last night, I have to wonder about him. How do you let these idiots play? Cost them the game.
Quote form Marvin Lewis: "We destructed on ourselves".
No kidding.

Who do we like today?
I gotta think Rodgers can get GB back on track.
Seattle on the road giving six? I will say they can cover it.
My losses will be posted tomorrow. 😉

Cincy has had loose cannons a good part of the Marvin Lewis years.
Players reflection of their coach?
Lack of institutional control?
I understand you want your best players on the field when the game is on the line, but man, that was out of control.

Hi Bhawk.

Minnesota kicker chokes - what strange games this weekend........

I had a good day at FedEx. The weather cooperated. The tailgate was a blast. Watching the Packers surgically dismember the Redskins... well, not so much fun, but a good day all the same. Control of the game completely went to the Packers when they called those time outs in the 2nd quarter. It was clear they saw weakness and they did everything they could to exploit those weaknesses.
The Redskins and the NFC East suck. I like going to Football games but I've never been fortunate enough to live in an area where the local team was of championship caliber. I had the Saints in the late 70's and early 80's. The Falcons in the mid 90's. I had the Eagles one good year when I spent a little time on the lam in Atlantic City.
Regardless. I like going to the games. I feel a lot more connected than watching at home.

I had the Saints in the late 70's and early 80's.
I've been a die hard from Kilmer through Brees...
Some very tough years
Somebody, please kick Cam Newton's A**

The weird year in the NFL continues with all 4 road teams winning on WC weekend for the first time ever. I am hoping that particular trend ends on Saturday afternoon, but I have a feeling the the Pats will get all they can handle from da Chiefs...I see that Maclin is "day to day" with a high ankle sprain so sounds like he'll go.
Was really pulling for the Skins and Vikes yesterday, but by the end of each game the better teams came out on top IMO. Missed the end of Pitts/Cincy but sounds like the Bungles lived up to their name.

Hello!
Should be an interesting matchup and game. Let's see what happens.

As a long time Packers, I was kind of pulling for the Vikes, mostly because I can't stand the Seahawks. But having watched the Vikings completely blow it so many times, I watched the set up for the kick and thought, "it would be such a Vikings thing to do to miss this chip shot". And sure enough...
I missed the AFC games, but can't say I'm too surprised with what happened. Houston has no QB, and Cincy finds ways to shoot themselves in the foot.
As for my Packers, really happy they decided to turn their offense ON. The defense has been keeping us in games for most of the second half of the season, so to see both firing is encouraging. I think we have a good chance at Arizona if they are able to keep this kind of momentum going - but it won't be easy.

With all the hoopla about the Powerball, my favorite 'what would you do if you won' answer on Chicago tv was some guy who would 'buy the Packers and move them to Alaska'............ 😛

All aboard!!

Yep, now he joins the Scott Norwood HOF -- worst Jan. 11 for Vikes since that day in 1970 when coach Hank Stram, Len Dawson & the Chiefs bounced Heavily-favid Vikings 23-7 in SB IV -- making the NFL also-rans to the AFL for the 2nd year in a row

Today marks the 30th Anniversary of the first Patriots AFC Championship. The Patriots beat the Dolphins ("Squish the Fish") 31-14 behind an offensive line that posted 255 rushing yards (Craig James, Robert Weathers, Tony Collins, Mosi Tatupu) and 5 turnovers by the defense and special teams. The win was the first for the Patriots at the Orange Bowl since 1966, the Dolphins inaugural season, ending a string of 18 consecutive losses by the Patriots in Miami and earning the Patriots their first trip to the Super Bowl in franchise history. While what happened in the ensuing Superbowl was, well let's just call it a letdown, this was a fun time to be a Pats fan, the first real taste of what it felt like to root for a winning football team (even though we had to wait another 15 years for that first SB victory).

On another note, this Friday night NFL films will be showing Super Bowl #1 live for the first time ever...pretty cool story on how they put this together.

ESPN Classic did that one time w/SB III -- rebroadcast the game as it was broadcast then -- Curt Gowdy was the announcer
What a bummer to lose your team , wonder if Chargers will follow ?

The Rams belong in LA. Their time in St Louis never felt right. Although they were born in Cleveland, they just didn't feel right in the midwest after all of those years as one the NFL's western outpost team.
It will be a little odd having the Chargers in LA, but at least they aren't moving too far from their long time fans. I hope the Raiders manage to stay in Oakland.

550 million dollar relocation fee for the Rams. If they can pay that why do stadiums need to be publicly funded? Though looking into the new LA stadium it seems that it is being privately funded.

I think you answered your own question. 😛

I dont see how LA will be able to support both teams. They could not hang onto the Rams 20 plus years ago.

Have you seen the proposal and the new stadium? LA only lost the Rams (and Raiders) because the city wouldn't build a new stadium. They only need a fraction of the nation's 2nd largest market. I think the city learned it's lesson, they've been trying to lure the NFL back ever since. I think The Rams will be ok.

i think LA can handle one team only. The HOLLYWOOD effect could produce a god team, even a great team. or it could be a team of posers.
what pisses me off to no end is the rumor that Oakland could go to Texas. MAN I AM PISSED and it hasn't even happened yet. FUK send them to mexico city and i'd be happier.

That new billion dollar stadium will be full of glitz and glamour, making a Rams game an event to see and be seen. Perfect for LA.

It's worked for Jerry at Jerry World, and the Cowboys suck and have a terrible home record since the stadium opened.
