as soon as the colts can't make the playoffs pagano is gone and then at the end of the season, now that irsay is off of the pills, grigson is gone. irsay was pretty high around the time he hired grigson and pagano. if pagano hadn't had cancer and become a fan favorite because of it, he would have been gone after last year.

I figured a shake up was coming and it was going to be Pep. They needed to do something to see if they can get things clicking. I like Chuck , but he will probably be gone at the end of the season , unfortunatley. I blame more Grigson for poor personnel decisons. I dont think to many people here in Indy will be sad to see RG go. You can only coach what you are given, but Chuck has made some questionable calls at times also.

There are alot of fingers to point at the poor performance of the Colts(everyone). Lucks regression is very strange. He was playing subpar before he was supposedly injured. Not sure why this has happened ,but hopefully he can get his head in the right place .

I know Irsay has had his issues with medications, but I cant say for a fact he was "high" when he made the GM decision. Pagano was Grigsons choice and so was Hamilton as far as I know.

What's ridiculous is the Colts are still miles beyond any of the other teams in the AFC South.

I can't remember a season that had such separation between the top teams. With the exception of the AFC South and NFC East, the top teams in each division have a good amount of separation at just week 7. Not to say the Vikings, Steelers, Seahawks, and other times not far behind, can't close the gap. But a lot of teams came swinging out of the gate this year.

If you are a daily reader of local media here Indy , as far as I have seen and read ,the two guys that are mentioned and others have never had there noses planted in the hind quarters of the local franchises such as other homer media outlets. They will give teams props when they need them and will rip then when its deserved. They are columnist and paid to give their opinions in journal based media outlets such as JerryThorton. I take most with a grain of salt and consider the source. Some I enjoy reading but others I really dont pay attention to.

Bobs article was pretty good today.

I've been a Saints fan since 1969, just a kid, I didn't know any better at the time. What can I say?...I liked their uniforms and the fact that my Mother's family was from Savannah, Ga meant that I spent some of my childhood there watching the Saints on TV because they couldn't show the Falcons due to local blackout regulations....

Man, I've seen some of the worst NFL football ever played, as a Nahlins fan a good percentage of those plays took place while the Saints were involved. After last season's debacle 7-9 finish and the departure of so many players, I thought they might win 2-3 games, but here we are sitting @ 4-4, with Tennessee and Washington up and then....a Bye. Great timing, 10 games in and valuable time to heal. If we defeat Tenn at home and the 'Skins on the road...I would say we're to be taken seriously down the stretch....

Geaux Saints!

Jerry Jones and the Cowboys can eat rocks.

Talib suspended for a game for eye poking Dwayne Allen, and deservedly so IMO. I only wish he could serve it in week 12. 😛

Packers didn't get the message after the Denver game and came out flat against the Panthers. Glad to see some fight at the end of the game, but Rodgers never looked comfortable and the secondary is in a M*A*S*H unit. These are the types of games that change the season one way or the other. Lots of NFC North Division games, can still easily take the division if they right the ship - especially the O line. Vikings are all of a sudden at our heels...

Luck lacerated kidney in Sunday’s game
Staff Reports Published: November 10, 2015, 3:06 pm

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck lacerated a kidney and partially tore an abdominal muscle in Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, the Colts announced Tuesday.

“The injuries happened at the end of an early fourth quarter scramble when Andrew was doing everything he could to get us the win,” Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said in a statement. “Andrew was sore after the game and was feeling a little worse Monday afternoon so we sent him to get tests.”

The injuries are not expected to require surgery. The team says Luck is expected to be fully recovered in two to six weeks.

“It’s way too early to guess how long Andrew will be out,” said Pagano. “We’re going to keep listening to the doctors and evaluating his progress on a week by week basis. We’ve got all the confidence in the world in Matt Hasselbeck and we’re not going to put Andrew back out there until he’s healed and ready to go.”

Aqib Talib:
"I didn't initially poke him in his eye, but as you could see, I did get his eye. It was unintentional."

Wow, I hate to see what his defintion of intentional is.

http://www.9news.com/story/sports/nfl/denver-broncos/mike-klis/2015/11/10/aqib-talib-loses-appeal-suspended-from-broncos-game-against-c/75538080/

KUSA—Aqib Talib lost his appeal Tuesday and will be suspended from the Denver Broncos' game this Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The one-game suspension also means Talib's must forfeit his one week pay of $351,102.

The Broncos will replace their star cornerback by promoting Bradley Roby from nickelback to starting left corner and insert Kayvon Webster into nickelback.

Talib was initially given a one-game suspension by Merton Hanks, the NFL's vice president of football operations, for poking Indianapolis Colts' tight end Dwayne Allen in the eye. Allen was in a verbal, facemask-to-facemask altercation with Broncos linebacker Von Miller when Talib jumped in to help his teammate.

Talib poked two fingers through Allen's facemask and caught the tight end in the eye. An official saw it and threw a flag.

Instead of the Colts confronting third-and-7 at the Broncos' 13 with 2:24 remaining, Talib's unsportsmanlike penalty gave the Colts a first down and helped them run out the clock to secure their 27-24 win.

Talib said the eye poke was unintentional but he apparently didn't convince his former teammate Derrick Brooks, the NFL appeals officer who upheld the suspension. Brooks and Talib were teammates with Tampa Bay in 2008. It was the final season of Brooks' Hall of Fame career and Talib's rookie year.

Another wild NFL Sunday.

Peyton gets the yardage record yet might be done. Sad.

Giants blow the game to NE. God, they gave them that game.

Big Ben comes off the bench and plays great for Steelers.

Ravens lose at home to Jacksonville? Jacksonville?

Bears are now in playoff contention?

Lions win at Green Bay. Packers looked awful. They had every shot at winning that.

Saints defense is just terrible. I thought Rob Ryan was some kind of guru. They are awful.

Should be a fun end of the season! Smile

The Edleman injury is a big deal for the defending champs. I do think the Pats can handle it between now and the end of December (Pats could go 4-3 and still win division), but will need him in January and it sounds like that might still be a possibility...

“New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman will undergo surgery for a broken bone in his left foot, sources tell ESPN. There is hope Edelman will return this season.” (ESPN.com)

Good lord the 'Pokes are bad, and it has little to do with Romo being out. They were lucky to win those first two incredibly ugly games, they could easily be 0-9. When are you going to step down as GM Jerry? Its been 20 years of futility. Even the FOX guys were talking about it pre game. If I see Jason Garrett clapping on the sidelines one more time.......

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but it ain't gonna change as long as the organization is led by Jerry Jones. As an example of his Jerry's own "leadership", this is the guy who a few weeks ago Jones praised as a "leader" of the team...

Greg Hardy was late for work, missed meetings last week
Posted by Darin Gantt on November 16, 2015, 11:17 AM EST

If it wasn’t clear already, it should be perfectly so now.

There’s apparently nothing Greg Hardy could do to make the Cowboys punish him now.

According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, the chronically visible for all the wrong reasons defensive end was late for work last Thursday, and missed most of the morning meetings that day as they prepared for the Buccaneers (or didn’t, as the case may be, as they lost 10-6).

There was no apparent sanction, or any suggestion they even care any more.

They were able to ignore the domestic violence charges from Charlotte that led to him being parked 15 games by the league. They shrugged off the graphic photos of the injuries to ex-girlfriend when they surfaced last week. They’ve patted him on the head and told him to play nice when he said foolish things about guns and women, and looked the other way when he had to be separated from not only one of his team’s assistant coaches, but another teammate on the sidelines yesterday.

They’ve done it all in the name of the pass-rush (and the leadership) he provides in the quest to win football games.

Oh, wait. They’re 0-5 with him on the field this year. Carry on.

Agree Jerry Jones is the kryptonite for the Cowboys. Why do you let one of the best running backs go? Why do you let Tom Landry go? First mistake he ever made. Big one. Why do you put up with Dez Bryant? Why do you sign Greg Hardy?

I "almost" feel bad for Cowboy fans. 😉
