Not really looking to bash, I am a Hoosier and all I can say is what little I know, Pence has always been unsound financially, in his personal life nor his business ventures, he strikes me as an underhanded, dubious, not overly smart dude. Prior to 2016, I swear 50% of homes had a Pence must go! Or Fire Pence! Sign in their front yard, after he became Trumpty's Rubber sex doll, most of the signs came down, it is after all dead red Indiana. Here is our lying dog in action, telling some real fairytales. If You believe his shit, sorry but You'd be dumber than him in my calculations?..........nothin but love from nw Indiana............crazy ass joe

CNN: Pence seeks to blame CDC and China for any delay in US coronavirus response -- not Trump's initial failure to face reality.

There is a way somebody could acknowledge shortcomings, but come on, who would expect a VP to throw his President under the bus?

It makes no difference the names or the parties, this is just how it works.

The article appears to be inconclusive if he was blaming the CDC beyond their testing constraints. I believe everyone should be blaming China for putting the world behind the 8 ball. And Pence might not say it, but I will, Donald Trump deserves blame for the flat footed and dismissive approach which also put our response behind the 8 ball.

I don’t know how many times people want to look back and keep saying the same thing. It is what it is now. We’re in the rut, the most important thing right now is getting out.

Like John Edwards on the Democratic side, Pence is a cross between a used car salesman and a TV preacher. So slimy you couldn't get ahold of him if your life depended on it. If you are a Democrat and you thought Edwards was OK in 2008 or a Republican in 2020 and you think Pence is OK, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Cheap.

Here's a proportional equivalency.

Pence is to Trump as Trump is to Putin.

It's about equal to Mitch McConnell blaming the impeachment hearings (1/16-2/5) for Trump's failure to face reality.

I understand what you are saying nebish, but unfortunately every time I open Facebook I am reminded that there are a lot of people in an alternate universe that think Trump is a great leader and has done everything possible from the minute he knew about it...... I guess we need to keep reminding people that wasn't the case. Plus, I have still not heard one empathetic word from his mouth to the American people. Our governor in Illinois has shown great leadership, and at a recent daily conference spoke directly to kids, showing plenty of empathy and still relaying the message.

Pence looks good next to Trump, but that's a low bar, but I have no respect for him because of what he did in Indiana, especially to gay people.

I do get a chuckle when he holds up his "stop the spread" card. It's like that is his one job, hold up the card sometimes multiple times in one press conference. I even got one in the mail, did anyone else get one? I usually think of Beck Bennett SNL skits when I watch Pence.

Read the book "The Shadow Presidency: The Truth About Mike Pence" by Michael D'Antonio and Peter Eisner and you'll learn all you need to know about the true motives of our current Vice President....

It seems some of our Indiana resident members back up what the book lays out. My sister-in-law lives in Indianapolis and she has nothing good to say about the man. And she's about as apolitical as it gets

My favorite was when Pense went to the "Profiles In Courage" card to the Democrats during the president's impeachment hearings. He's just as pathetic as the president.

Hey, I am from Indiana too! But our point of views differ, so I will leave it at that.

I got a chuckle when you mentioned "Not really looking to bash, " and then more or less rip into him. That was good! Gotta laugh out of that.

I really did not expect anything different when I read this thread. Everybody is entitled to their opinions. Which is fine with me.

Gotta love the whipping post. I know when things are slow, need a good laugh or be entertained, I know where to head. It's kinda like reading comments on YouTube and Amazon.

Carry on good people.

Good fun jszfunk!!! Did You used to see all the "Pence must Go" and "Fire Pence"? Just curious, what are Your general thoughts on our former Governor? Did You agree with his discriminatory position against gay people? What about his refusal to help back during the AIDS crisis? He strikes me as more a contributor to today's ills, than any type of help at a solution............Peace..........joe

Jszfunk, You caught the Brothers July 13 2004 show at the Lawn or no?

I got a card.

It was cut/printed wrong so every sentence was cut off.

Typical of this maladministration.
