Lonzo Ball Better Than Steph Curry?

Well, that's what Lonzo's Father, LaVar Ball, says about his son, the UCLA star point guard.
Oh, wait a minute...........the FORMER UCLA star point guard. Because the Bruins were knocked out of the Tournament yesterday and Lonzo is going pro. Lonzo Ball scored a grand total of 10 points in the most important game of his life. Meanwhile Kentucky's De'Aaron Fox torched UCLA for 39, a career-high for him.
Question for the Senior Mr. Ball: Just where are you getting your drugs, Sir?
Yeah, your son's a great ballplayer and may be the #1 NBA draft pick. But you put pressure like that on your 19 year old kid and you've got a LOT of growing up to do. Not to mention comparing him to a player who's been the NBA MVP the last two consecutive season.

steph curry is over rated. don't get me wrong, he's a top 5 guard, but he's not the end all be all.

There are LOTS of great point guards in the NBA. In the Western Conference, it's hard to for an MVP candidate just to make the all star team, with Steph Curry, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Chris Paul, Tony Parker and Damian Lillard all playing that position.
To say that your 19 year old college freshman son is better than ANY of them would be stupidity.

Yeah, his dad makes alot of noise looking for attention and if the media was smart they would pay him no mind.
Just my opinion here, but I think sometimes people get MVP confused with best player.
Kawhi Leonard is probably the best all around player .He plays BOTH ends of the floor. I would probably put him right behind LeBron in all around best.

It would be hard to argue with you. I thought of Kawhi in my last post but didn't mention him among the six guards I listed only because Parker is the point, Leonard is the shooting guard, to my knowledge anyway. Yeah, Kawhi is a great one. Watched him a lot in college because he played out here in CA at San Diego State. He was a big star, but kinda like Steph Curry, I don't think anyone could have imagined he would turn out to be quite the player that he has.

Sad thing about Kawhi Leonard is that the Pacers drafted and traded him to the Spurs for George Hill. I guess it kinda worked out for Indiana for a little bit, but would have loved to see KL in this city. Oh well. 😉
