Musician Ted Nugent took to the Internet on Wednesday to decry what he called "Ferguson thugs" and "a plague of black violence," demanding that blacks stop supporting liberals because of what he saw as biased media coverage of the recent Ferguson police shooting.
In a diatribe on World Net Daily, Nugent complained that "our national propaganda ministry reported ad nauseum the detailed description and race of Michael Brown and that of the police officer who killed him."
"Based on crime stats in Ferguson and elsewhere, it would be a safe bet to assume the two thugs the police are looking for are black males between the age of 15 and 25," Nugent added.
Continuing with his "Nuge hunch," the rocker claimed that it is a "safe bet the two thugs being searched for were raised by a single parent, have criminal records, are high school dropouts, don’t have jobs and are very likely to be members of a gang."
Nugent then turned to liberalism as the culprit behind the struggles that have "decimated and destroyed so many black families and their communities."
"It is deaf, dumb and blind liberalism that has shoveled over $20 trillion into Fedzilla’s welfare crack programs over the past 50 years," Nugent said.
The musician closed the column with: "The road to peace and prosperity in America is to reject the big liberal lie and all those who endorse it. Liberalism is a lie. Liberalism is a scam. Liberalism is a killer."
Earlier this year, Nugent went on another rant in which he referred to President Barack Obama as a "subhuman mongrel."

I agree with the crime stats quote and premis.

If the demographics of the town include a high percentage of black/minorities and the crime rate in Ferguson is high, well, what else can you conclude?
This part may be true, or partially true, but it might be reaching to include all those things as most liley being true.

I think that neighborhoods and the people who live in them are responsible to clean up their towns. Neighborhood watch groups can do a lot to decrease crime, there aren't enough police to do the job, so people have to do more. On a poverty level, you have a lot of able bodied people with nothing to do (no jobs, no money, no future), let them help clean up the graffiti, garbage strewn around, etc. etc. Block, by block people could contribute and help paint the houses. People with reconstruction skills could help fix parts of the buildings they live in that the landlords neglect. Slumlords have hundreds of code violations, the people can help fix things, just find locals who have the knowledge and are willing to put in some time to start taking back their homes and neighborhoods.

I posted the below couple days ago. Guess we're not going to get an answer? Let me expand it and put it another way. Which things from his quotes do you agree with, and which things do you disagree with what he stated?

What else is he going to do to get attention? Nobody cares about his music anymore. And this is coming from someone who was a huge fan of his in the 70's.
I had not seen him since the early 80's and went to show at the Boston HOB several years back and there might have been 200 people in attendance at best. The mezzanine and balconies, which are usually full for popular acts, were closed and the floor, which is usually packed to the back bar, was not even half full.
He had the top of his amps covered with Assault rifles and did political rants between every song. He was like a cartoon character. As much as I love his old music that was pretty much it for me and I will never waste my time and go see him in concert again.
And before the conservatives jump in I would feel the same way if I went to see a liberal musician like Neil Young and he ranted between every song. I go for the music not to here about the musicians political beliefs.
The sad thing for me is when Ted did get around to playing he was killer and is a very underrated guitar player IMHO. He still has the chops but comes off as a ultra right wing lunatic these days.
Did you know that he pissed and shit himself for weeks to avoid the draft? He wasn't very smart. He could have just collected it and pour it on himself before going.

You can laugh now but he lives in Texas and when the border there is seriously breached and hordes of people start coming across, he'll be locked and loaded and nobody will conquer him. By the way the influx of people will not be Mexicans, they will be Chinese, no I'm not joking. The Mexican drug cartels are protecting them because Mexico made deals with the Chinese, Mexico has some resources the Chinese want very badly, badly enough to do deals with the drug cartels. If you don't know what I'm talking about, nose around a little and you'll find out why the greatest threat to America isn't Al Qaida, or any of the other groups, it is China.
