I got that issue over 10 years ago and you're right, it was the best.

Just finished an extremely long and in-depth feature on the recentlly deceased legend Merle Haggard in the latest RS. Wouldn't have missed it for the world, just great, interesting stuff, and it showed me a side of man I never knew. It included nods to Merle by the likes of Sturgill Simpson, Keith Richards, Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson. Also gave me lots of tips on records by him to pick up.

But then again, if you really hate RS.............

I really dislike RS, got my last issue, I'd say 20 or 25 years ago.

I will admit, when I go to my buddy's house that still subscribes, I peruse through his stack for the highlights.

Heading up there next week, will check out that Hag article.
