Jon Stewart: Democrat Party Political Hack

I occasionally watched both Stewart and Colbert, enjoyed their show to some extent. I would say I found them funny about a 2 out of 3 shows I watched, but that admittedly was a pretty small sample size. They come on past my bedtime.

This is one of my favorite Stephen Colbert moments. Perfect example of stories that get completely ignored by the mainstream media (honestly this should have been a major topic of discussion) that Colbert not only covers but does so in a really funny way (to me anyway). The Bank of America comment is great (they had actually conceded the punchline in so many words at the time) and also wait for the hornets nest analogy about 2 minutes in. Haven't watched the interview in a while but its really the commentary before that is so good:

DR, I agree and I think some others in this thread do to: it is a really sad comment on the state of things that it is left to guys like Mahr, J Oliver, Stewart etc. to provide exposure a light on these things. Very sad.
For some reason I have seen J Stewart referred to as snark not just here but in several articles recently like the Ny Times,Guardian and elsewhere. One of those things tha just fits I guess (not to me but clearly for others) Agree also humor, like music, is subjective. I thought Stewart's interview with Geitner was pretty brave among others (not just the book/novel comment). Will definitely have to check out that Marx Bros. that sounds hilarious!
No adult on earth should go through his or her life without having enjoyed Duck Soup. And while that is my opinion it is borderline fact. Seriously. Rent it now,

John Oliver is quite entertaining.
