This is not correct. By most if not all accounts, his mother is a US citizen who met the necessary requirements at the time of Sen. Cruz's birth such he would be a citizen from birth even though he was born outside the US, i.e. he is a natural-born citizen. A naturalized citizen is someone who was not a citizen from birth but becomes a citizen later. If Cruz were a naturalized citizen (like, for example, Arnold Schwarzenegger) he would not be eligible.

The American People have spoken and said loud and clear that We The People reject Obama and his failed policies specifically and Reid and the Democrats policy of obstruction in general.
The People chose Republicans to lead and to get the work of the country done.
From the Senate, The House, The Governorships and State Legislatures the liberals were kicked to the curb and people that can actually get the job done were elected en mass.
The message to the Democrats was clear: stop the politics of hate, race hustling, over regulation, government mismanagement, corruption, malfeasance and lying.
Obama himself, out campaigning at tax-payers expense to the tune of tens of millions of dollars, said while he was not on the ballot this election, his polities were. Every one of them.
The American citizens wholesale rejected his failed policies.
Now the people can get their freedoms back, get a good job again and be proud of their country.
It is a good day to be an American again.

On Monday, Hillary Clinton participated in a Town hall event for Univision’s affiliated network Fusion where she answered questions about white privilege and terrorism. She was asked if she believes that white terrorism and extremism is as much a threat to some in this country as something like ISIS. During her response, she unleashed a diatribe against American Police officers saying;
” I think that when you have police violence that terrorized communities, that doesn’t show the respect that you’re supposed to have from respecting people in your authority, that can feel, also, terrorizing.”
Mrs. Clinton, I think it is disgusting how you pander to special interest groups and downplay the role you had with building the terrorist organization that is threatening the lives of innocent people everywhere. Equating police officers to ISIS is shameful. You should apologize to them immediately.

Anyone notice that no one here or in the mainstream media has mentioned the latest Democrat debate?
Billed as the “Brown and Black Debate”, the DNC again buried it on the night of the College National Champion Game. As it turned out that was probably a good thing. This was the ultimate pandering debate sponsored by The Congressional Black Caucus.
The headline, if the media would have mentioned it, would have been Hillary Clintons equating Police Officers to ISIS Terrorists.
Note to the Democrats: not all black people are buying it. This was written by a black man:

There has been a lot of reporting on the debate. Mostly fact checking in which the candidates created a parallel world to this one. Much like you do.
IMO, it would be in Cruz's best interest to resolve this once and for all. There are some constitutional experts who do not agree that he is eligible to be POTUS. If he were nominated and/or elected and it was ruled by SCOTUS that he was ineligible, it would be bad for the country.
And meanwhile, we are all still awaiting Muleboy to tell us which candidate he supports. He won't because he is too weak minded to actually support and defend anyone. All he can do is attack others. Weak minded is probably too nice a way of putting it.
Cruz has other problems now but there are constitutional scholars who do not believe he is eligible and a natural born citizen. Basically if one respects the views of the Framers then Cruz is not eligible to be President.
Laurence Tribe maintains that in the 18th century concern over a patrilineal lineage would have influenced the Framers to stipulate that natural born would be within the territory of the US. As an example there would have been the fear that a father like Ted Cruz's, who fought with the communists in Cuba, would take his wife to a new country and have children who would have their rights and loyalties determined by the lineage and not the Nation State. This was actually a fear by the birthers.
In the 18th century a situation as described for Cruz was probably likely and this was a situation the Framers wanted to avoid.
Tribe was Cruz's Constitutional Law Professor at Harvard. Tribe had quite the message when describing his former student. Before "someone" criticizes the site, keep in mind that these are direct quotes from the professor. Check out the video...good stuff...direct from the professor's mouth.
Of course after last night, much of NY would prefer that he were not eligible...
