Click on the link and go down below Back Porch Sessions, click on the "scattered and smothered" article and check out how you want your Waffle House hashbrowns.

Smothered, covered, peppered and diced.

Sometimes topped.

I was not aware of the "country" option. I could handle that with three eggs over.

I stayed in DC the other night stranded by the snow after the TTB show. I went walking, slip sliding around Sunday morning and grabbed a $5 breakfast special in the Red Lion Pub. It was served on a paper plate with plastic cutlery and dang was it good. The GW basketball team came in and ate while I was eating my eggs. Those boys ordered up a storm!

I couldn't find it while in DC a little over a year ago. My wife kept wanting to find the diner where the NCIS crew eats at. Finally had her convinced that it's in LA along with the lab where "Bones" takes place.

But did you miss eating off real china with stainless flatware?

No way. That cheap paper plate held the runny yolk and hash brown grease in the sweet spot for my toast to sop it all up.

The coffee could have been stronger but it was plentiful. I was encouraged to help myself to the pot.

There's a lot of good reading there for just about anybody. Music, food, hunting, travel, style, and family articles.
Love the Good Dog photo shoots.
