was just wondering....whether it the internet or tv or radio or politicians....this is where we all get our information. some of the information is informative. a lot of it is crap. most all of it is driven by advertising dollars.

is this helpful or hurtful to a capitalistic society?

how do we process this "information" to know what is factual and what is bullshit or propaganda?

do we tend to just listen to things in an echo chamber? looking for views that fit our thinking?

can or should this be fixed?

LOL its sh!t and can't be fixed.....humans are stupid.....most of them....we are easily manipulated....manipulation is a well studied artform.

i suppose only better education for our youth is the answer.....but who decides what to educate them on?

LOL, maybe we will survive, without a lot of destruction.
