I'm sorry...but I agree. "Thanksgiving" is a joke.
and a bad one at that.

Americans are quick to forget our warmongering past and the acquisition of large swaths of the nation via war. We are quick to condemn other nations for the same actions; as if the outcome somehow forgives our methods.
That said we are currently a nation that allows freedom for its people; and this is a day to give Thanks for the fortunate existence we live.
