How are you celebrating, and what is your pledge to help save the planet?

Today I planted corn, squash, cucumbers, and watermelons. I've started cutting up trees that fell over during the last two weekends of severe weather.
I've pledged to help cut down on plastics by looking for products that use very little plastic in their packaging, not to purchase Styrofoam coolers, and work to end plastic drink bottles.

The different soda companies had the best recycling program ever. You bought the drink, enjoyed it, returned the bottle for the process to begin again.

Other countries have started a ban on plastic bags, straws, and single use containers. Why can't we?

Well, my carbon footprint isn't what is used to be.

Good job for your efforts Jerry.

To help save the planet and to minimize my carbon footprint, I am staying in my home and not going outside. I also wear a mask to minimize my spewing of dangerous carbon dioxide!

Saw DTB open for Santana on Earth Day in the early-mid 2000's. Got the only set list that came off the stage, the ones Yonrico used to create and each band member got one. Have probably half a dozen of those through the years.

Earth Day was featured on it.

If you want to get even more depressed, watch the new movie Michael Moore produced - Planet of the Humans. It is free on youtube. Very scary.......basically says the green power movement has been taken over by the billionaires and is not really green .....very eye opening
