Dept. of Homeland Security Names White Supremacy a Domestic Terrorist Threat

Sorry, tried my best to find a non Corrupt Liberal Media Fake News source like Fox covering this but not a mention from any legit news - so you will have to choke down Rolling Stone and The Dept of Homeland Security's own Newswire site if you want any info on this:
From Rolling Stone:
In a speech at the Brookings Institute on Friday, Kevin McAleenan, the acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, said that recent mass shootings had “galvanized the Department of Homeland Security to expand its counterterrorism mission focus beyond terrorists operating aboard, to include those radicalized to violence within our borders by violent extremists of any ideology.”
“The continuing menace of racially based violent extremism, particularly white supremacist extremism, is an abhorrent affront to our nation, the struggle and unity of its diverse population, and the core values of both our society and our department,” McAleenan said in the speech.
Following from Homeland Security Newswire :
William Braniff, director of UMD’s National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and the Responses to Terrorism (START), testified to the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs about how data can improve government resource allocation and risk mitigation regarding domestic terrorism.
“Defining, tracking and reporting data on terrorism is subject to biases, subtle pressures or even manipulation,” Braniff said. “It’s clear that domestic terrorism, specifically far-right extremism, requires greater attention and resource allocation.”
UMD says that according to START data, violent far-right terrorists have been responsible for more failed and successful plots, homicides, attempts to obtain chemical or biological weapons and illicit financial schemes than international terrorists in recent decades. That activity has spiked precipitously—from fewer than five attacks in 2013 to around 35 in both 2017 and 2018.
“Violent white supremacists are the most active of the ideological groups in the United States in terms of violence by just about every empirical metric,” he said.

NBC. CBS, Fox, The Hill, Washington Post, Newsweek, Newsmax, New York Times, BET, CNN, Briebart, and quite a few carried it.

That's good, then it probably isn't Fake News then - might have actually happened if Fox, Newsmax, Breitbart and The Hill covered it. All the others are just Corrupt Liberal Media, and Homeland Security Newswire is most likely run by Obama goons.
My bad, for some reason not one conservative news source showed up on my search, "Homeland Security Names Domestic Terrorism a Threat" using Bing. Until the end of page 2 there was an Infowars article on it. Wasn't about to post a link to Infowars.
Weird, because this news is only just over a month old.
Would appreciate any links on this you can find to Fox or other conservative news - I am interested in how they reported on it. I always read all sides, if there isn't a blackout.

This is a highly praiseworthy action by the Trump administration. Too bad Muleman isn't here to hear me actually congratulating this admin on a job well done.
The POTUS won't get any credit for it because liberals won't ever acknowledge if the Trump admin does something they agree with, and the Redhats won't acknowledge if the Trump admin does anything that smells even slightly liberal. And of course there are the übermagas who think that an action against Far Right extremist and White Supremacist terrorism isn't a Trump administration action but just an Obama era holdover.
Credit goes where credit is due: good job Donald, your Dept. of Homeland Security calling out White Supremacist Terror is a progressive step.

Hold on, my bad - there are tons of liberal sources reporting on this and supporting it. The conservative papers touched on it but danced away - most likely because any good conservative knows that Far Right Extremism and White Supremacy DO NOT EXIST, they are a liberal Fake News propaganda ploy!
I have read this here many times, Redhats clearly saying Far Right extremism and White Supremacists do not exist. It must be frustrating to be betrayed by the administration you had such high hopes for, only to find out they are Deepstate liberal libertykillers like the rest.
How could the Trump administration condone this attack on White Rights?

Don't mind me, just multiposting and enjoying my lil thread here. Seems important to me to put some good feedback out there for Trump on this.

You are so silly!!

Yes I am, however fact is right here on Whipping Post I have had to endure Redhats blowing smoke in my face how there is no Far Right Extremism or White Supremacists, let alone a terror threat, and here the Trump administration just defined it as a primary focus for Dept of Homeland Security.
If liberals and Trump supporters are not free to recognize positive action by the Trump administration seems a good thing for independents to throw some kudos to Trump for a change.
Outside the box man, not concerned about appearing silly. Right on Trump, keep the screws on those Nazi f*ckers! Hell, legalize pot federal and you got my vote 2020!
Telling you man, just listen to the earsplitting silence from liberals and Trump supporters on this. Classic!

I am neither and my "Earsplitting silence" is due to the issue or menace I fail to see. Who, where and what is the threat?...

. . .my "Earsplitting silence" is due to the issue or menace I fail to see. Who, where and what is the threat?...
I will defer that question to the experts in the Trump administration Dept.of Homeland Security who have deemed the matter a top priority - they have stated in no uncertain terms that it is more of a clear and present danger than the Islamic terror that you would have no trouble accepting as a real concern.
Sympathies are easy to decipher from silence and apologetics. No need to wait for spineless closet nazis to come right out and say what they really think. They never will - just lurk and seethe and stockpile until they go postal at the synagogue or burn a black church.
Silly of me, I know, but Trump's on the case, and I for one am proud of his outfit finally throwing down on this.

Fair enough and you are in agreement with the Administration, so I am asking you.....
"Who, where and what is the threat?.."

Probably not much of a threat if you don't frequent black churches or synagogues, or work in office buildings in OK City and are not on a maniac Coast Guard guy's hit list, or if you are not a Hispanic mom shopping at Walmart in El Paso - so yeah, YMMV.
I repeat, I will defer this question to the Trump administration. The Dept. of Homeland Security is a good outfit, they have done their homework.
You seem to feel that the Trump administration is making a bad call on this - that is totally understandable, I have major gripes with much of Trump's presidency. Feeling pretty good on this though - first admin to openly tackle this problem since LBJ.

BigV I have been trying to find that out for you. Google, DuckDuckGo, and Bing searches all come up with pretty much the same thing, lists provided by the Anti Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Neither organization has any wherewithal to label others as hate groups or terrorist organizations.
The ADL has resorted to armed violence, and bombing, in the past.
The SPLC has been sued so many times for libel and acts of slander and denigration of lawyers representing clients who sued the SPLC, including threats to place the law firm the lawyers work at as "terrorist sympathizers".
Having said that, one map the SPLC had on one of their web pages supposedly shows where some hate groups are centered.
The dots on the map looked familiar and I figure it out. They follow the major interstate highways.
I-75 from Miami to upper Michigan, I-95 from Charleston, SC almost to Maine, I-20 just about all the way East to West, and, along most major highways in the northeast and California.
To believe that map is accurate, then hate groups only congregate along the Interstate highways.

You seem to feel that the Trump administration is making a bad call on this
Not at all, once again I am merely asking where the threat is?

Probably in rest areas or out of the way along the interstate - sniveling little skunks - white supremacist groups are no different from the KKK, or skinheads - violent psychopathic criminals - Homeland Security Should target them

You seem to feel that the Trump administration is making a bad call on this
Not at all, once again I am merely asking where the threat is?
Judging by his emails, I'd start with Stephen Miller in the White House.

Why are people asking about their physical location?
So that when we go driving through those areas we'll know to have the machine guns mounted in the side windows of our trucks.
Do you have a spell check on your browser?

Hold on now - seems to me if there is no threat then the Trump administration is all wet on this. Why would Dept of Homeland Security make such a big deal out of this if it was bullcrap? To fool dumb@ss libs like me into thinking Trump is hip?

No not you, just the other bumb@sses.

Well they sure fooled me - for a second there I thought Dept of Homeland Security under Trump was on the level, and meant it actually naming Far Right Extremism and White Supremacy as a threat.
No response from the Übermagas here or even the regular Redhats, but according to the independent Redhat cheerleaders here the Trump admin is full of sh!t on this . . . figures. No such thing. Probably just an Obama holdover, we can purge Dept of Homeland Security during Trump's second term, make em pay for saying bad stuff about white people. Next!

You can still think Trump is hip, even if that has gone out of style.

Nah, I am off the hook - you guys just lost a convert. I was kinda happy I found common ground with the Redhats, proud of this anti White Spermracist move by Trump's DHS - but of course the one time I went pro-Trump you all convinced me that his admin is full of sh!t. Funny how that works.

You just didn't have Glenda sprinkle enough magic dust on you.

Trollproof thread. Sealed tight - extreme libs and cons can't touch it. Truth is the DHS made a good call. Gonna write a letter of praise to the White House - am sure they will welcome some positive feedback, they are probably nervous about the lack of support from their base.
