Corona Confusion

Meanwhile, here in Georgia's, "Golden Isles" - there is a "stay home" order ... confounded by the recent news that the beaches ARE open. Nationally we hear, "DON'T wear masks" .... followed by "DO wear masks ... but don't BUY masks".
And there is no political motivation behind this (my) comment: In (pretty much all) reports - we're told of the number of Coronavirus cases. These numbers include cases reported several (3 - 4) weeks ago. This produces the fear (real or otherwise) that there are higher numbers of infected people walking around in public ... masked or otherwise. I believe that a "scoreboard" website should be created that reflects the numbers of CURRENTLY INFECTED against the number of NO LONGER INFECTED. I would also be interested in a chart that shows numbers of new cases daily compared to number of new cases the day before. I say this not knowing if such information is currently available (I search daily!).
I most certainly DO believe that this pandemic is a real problem. I have not taken it lightly since its first reports. At the same time, I feel and see psychological effects occurring. Disconnection from social activities and the fear that I am going to let my guard down for a nano-second and touch a surface that was sneezed on last week ...
Yeah, I can't wait for this episode to come to its end.
Peace.

There certainly are a lot of sources I would think something would provide what you are looking for. The number of recovered cases appears to lag and harder to find it's way into the reports apparently. Some news sources that are normally subscription based are offering free access to Corona-related news (like the New York Times).
