Phuck SCAR

i hope Ohio State puts 50 on Harb. Can’t stand him. Don’t like urban either.
Nice to see you drop in! Getting ready for the Iron Bowl I'm sure.
Atleast Urban Meyer wins, Harbaugh's next big win at Michigan will be his first.
Urban is the biggest a$$hole in sports. As soon as he thinks there is something better than Ohio State, he is gone. He already used his health and wanting to spend time with his family excuses to leave Florida before they started to suck.
What can he come up with next?
Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

Hating Ohio State is so easy.

I thought he was smart to leave Florida. Tebow was a once in a lifetime college QB and no way could Meyer spend the rest of his career at Florida trying to live up to two titles in three years.

Little light on the upsets today. That makes me sad. Nice win for Duke and San Jose was a big one. Couple others, Auburn notably.
Urban Meyer is the absolute best program builder/rejuvenater, his record is fantastic at all his stops.
He left Florida in a mess and didnt handle sustaining that program beyond the National Title teams. So I actually wondered if he could sustain a team because he hasn't stayed anywhere very long really.
Kind of funny that when Ohio St loses, they lose big. Would be cool to see Wisconsin beat them next week.

I should get comeback of the year - missed the first nine games, and then got the last 9 right.............tied for 5th out of 11..............

Wisconsin, Auburn, Miami, and Oklahoma next weekend. Also hope that would be the playoff

Well the Gamecock fans showed up as the white trash they are by throwing things at the Clemson players. As typical the stands were empty by late 3rd quarter.
34-10 but it could have been more.
Come next August they will be pre-season national champs again. EfF the chickens!!

It was a nice comeback. Still, I hope you're ready to buy me some beer! 😉
"Is that a real poncho or is that a Sears poncho?"

Yes, yes, it is.

He wants to take some photography courses at a community college? 😛

Sounds eerily similar to the "fans" in Boulder although they usually pelt the opponent with snowballs. They should get tear gassed every game not just when they play Colorado State.

Press conference today at 1 pm announcing UCLA's hiring of Chip Kelly. Hopefully he's "The Guy". While it's exciting, we'll see in 4 years when he's coaching his recruits.

There's a dumpster fire in Knoxville.

Regarding UCLA and Kelly, what will be interesting is that when he came out of New Hampshire and to Oregon he as cutting edge and unique. Now just about everyone who wants to run tempo and that style is doing it so nothing special about prepping for his O any longer. Doesn't mean that he still can't succeed doing it, but it just doesn't set him apart. It will hopefully be an exciting time in UCLA.
Regarding Tennessee, what a shit show. I'm not on twitter, but followed along with alot of that stuff yesterday. Not liking the Schiano hire for football reasons is one thing and fine. But this whole other thing, it is like children not getting something they want. Bad look for Tennessee. Everybody wants their hands in every decision and nobody wants to leave it to the people responsible for certain things to make the best choices and if some group of people doesn't agree with it then there is holy hell to pay. Not just Tennessee and this situation, but everywhere and everything. It's no wonder that nothing seems to function the way it should anymore.
Regarding those South Carolina fans, shame on you. Again, children acting out for attention because something didn't go their way. Clemson put on a clinic, again humbled and embarrassed Gamecock nation much more than a 15 yard penalty could've.

Vol fans want Kiffin back... desperation at its finest... pathetic.

Gundy turned down $42 million over 6 years.
Don't think that all Vol fans want that asshole Kiffin back. I certainly don't. And, I don't think that he is being considered by those who are controlling the process. (The Haslams and other powerful boosters... Peyton...)
It's an embarrassing situation for those of us who love the University and the State of Tennessee.

Now they are after Brohm from Purdue. I really don't know why anyone would walk into the mess that appears to be Tennessee currently.

Not sure Gatorland is much better these days. Two amazing programs that cannot get out of their own way. And that is coming from a Jets fan!!!

Bunch of good games. My personal interest has peaked though. I'll still watch all these games and the bowls, but I love when all 130 teams are playing. I would just as much like to watch Utah State play Air Force as I would any conference title game.
You are jumping ahead to playoff teams? No matter who it is, I hope that only 1 team per conference is awarded a spot. As I have always believed, the conference championship should be a prerequisite for a national championship opportunity.
So looking at your 4 Andy, what happened to the ACC Champ? Are you excluding them?
I think TCU has a shot to beat OU Saturday. I'm not counting Gary Patterson out and relying upon OU's D is always tricky.
I'll just offer where I rank the top 10 currently (I included 11 so nobody thought I forgot about Ohio State):
1. Clemson 11-1 – 7 wins vs bowl teams, best wins vs 10-2 Auburn 14-6 plus at 9-3 VT and at 9-3 LV...Loss at 4-8 Syracuse 24-27
*note Clemson more well rounded team with a high quality defense*
2. Oklahoma 11-1 – 7 wins vs bowl teams, best win at 10-2 Ohio St 31-16 plus home vs 10-2 TCU and at 9-3 Okla St...Loss home vs 7-5 ISU 31-38
3. Auburn 10-2 – 5 wins vs bowl teams, best wins home vs 11-1 Georgia 40-17, home vs 11-1 Alabama 26-14...Loses at 11-1 Clemson 6-14 and at 9-3 LSU 23-27
4. Wisconsin 12-0 – 4 wins vs bowl teams, best win home vs 9-3 FAU 31-14, home vs 7-5 Iowa 38-14, home vs 8-4 Michigan 24-10
5. Georgia 11-1 – 6 wins vs bowl teams, best win at 9-3 Notre Dame 20-19...Loss at 10-2 Auburn 17-40.
6. Alabama 11-1 - 5 wins vs bowl teams, best win home vs 9-3 LSU 24-10, home vs 9-3 Fresno 41-10...Loss at 10-2 Auburn 14-26
7. UCF 12-0 – 6 wins vs bowl teams, best win home vs 11-1 Memphis 40-13, home vs 9-2 USF 49-42.
8. Miami 11-1 – 5 wins vs bowl teams, best win home vs 9-3 VT 28-10, home vs 9-3 Notre Dame 41-8...Loss at 5-7 Pitt 14-24
9. USC 10-2 – 7 wins vs bowl teams, best win home vs 9-3 Stanford 42-24....Loses at 9-3 Washington St 27-30, at 9-3 Notre Dame 14-49
10. TCU 10-2 – 6 wins vs bowl teams, best win at 9-3 Oklahoma State 44-31...Loses at 7-5 ISU 7-14, at 11-1 Oklahoma 20-38
11. Ohio State 10-2 – 4 wins vs bowl teams, best win home vs 10-2 Penn State 39-38...Loses home vs 11-1 Oklahoma 16-31, at 7-5 Iowa 21-55

Herman Edwards to Arizona State? That is a WTF moment.

I don't think TCU has a prayer against Oklahoma. The Sooners are REALLY good. Perhaps national champs.
I would love for a Big Ten team to win it but I don't see Wisconsin (they did not have a difficult schedule) knocking off Ohio St and I doubt the Bucks will get in anyway. That blowout against Iowa has to hurt them.
I have heard some kudos for USC. That would be interesting.
If all four of the top teams win this weekend it is a moot point anyway regarding the playoff.
Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

hi Scott
yes i for some reason think clemson will lose and both Bama and Georgia will get in as Georgia beats Auburn. Auburn laid it all out against Bama especially emotionally and i think their star was injured as well so i think Dawgs will beat them.

I will take Georgia as well to beat Auburn and win the SEC.
I would think the ACC Champ gets in, but in your scenario it isn't impossible they shut out Miami, but Miami as 1 loss ACC Champ would be hard for the committee to leave out. Then it is down to Big Ten, Big Xll or PAC 12 Champ for 2 other spots...unless they give one conference two teams and they've already showed us that nonconference champs can get in (Ohio St last year). If UCF goes 12-0 after Saturday throw their name into the ring before anyone considers two teams from same league.

Yes, Oklahoma is HOT.
I just can't trust their D. WVU with backup QB making first career start drove them into the RZ first 3 drives racking up over 200y on those opening possessions, but came away with just 10 pts (either thanks to the OU D clamping down, or the lack of QB experience out of the 'eers). Then since WV D couldn't offer any resistance to OU O the game was essentially over at halftime, but OU D still allowed WVU O to walk down field for back-to-back TDs to start the 3rd.
OU did a number on TCU the first time around, but that is the exception. TCU isn't overly threatening like most Big Xll teams are, but even, hell Kansas St had their way with the Sooner D.
I'm not going to sell Patterson short in this game. I would not bet TCU to win, but might consider getting over a TD with them and count on them to be more competitive this time around.

Gundy turned down $42 million over 6 years.

I feel bad what the good people of Tennessee are going through. On the other hand, those people who threw temper tantrums Sunday I have no compassion for.
I think Brohm has a very very high ceiling. That would've been a strong hire. The big concern would've been that he would leave anywhere for Louisville.
But did he back out over negotiations or it becoming public or was it not as far along as some of those press people said? At this point, in just about any area, how can you believe any speculation even the most trusted sources report on anything? So much has been proving to be BS more and more.
Doren? Butch Jones staying might've been better.
I forget who the latest name is.
Tee Martin will be there if you want him, but he has never lead a program as a head coach and about 2 months ago USC fans were ready to fire him.
