Al Qaida proper declares it's oath of allegiance to the Afghan Taliban and it's successor Amir, Mullah Mansoor.

Next guy to kill.
Cool.

Why do you believe it is perfectly all right to go to other countries to kill people who have beliefs different than those in the US?
Why aren't they allowed to live in THEIR native homeland, practicing their religion as they see fit?
Don't you think it's colonialism and arrogance to try to force western beliefs (non Islamic) on people from a Islamic country? Their secular government can work it out with the locals as they have for years without our being there. They were living in peace in Pakistan until we showed up and started assassinating tribal leaders. Now you have two factions in the tribal areas, the one that has given allegiance to Isis, and the others who are still loyal to the Afghan Taliban. What was the achievement there? The raid in Abbottabad? Do you really think he was there and there were NO photos, and the body was not even returned to his family or his tribal brothers to be buried in Waziristan. Osama and many of his family had ties to the intelligence communities in more than one country. That's the real deal.

You mean Western beliefs like it's wrong to shelter terrorists who kill 3,000 Americans? Yeah I want to ram those beliefs down their throats.

It's not just western beliefs that it's wrong to kill 3,000 people. Mullah Omar denounced the attacks as did many others. You are aware that the funding for those attacks was documented to have sent thru Deutsche Bank and BCCI which the intelligence agencies use? The money went thru Pakistan, the passports for the hijackers came thru the embassy in Jeddah/Saudi Arabia, and at the time Osama was exiled and not allowed to return there, so who was really pulling the strings? But that's another rant.
Do you think it is perfectly allright for one country to go to another country to kill people whose beliefs differ than those in the US? Because that is what we are doing now with the Afghans, and there were no Afghans flying any planes or involved in the attacks of 9.11
Why aren't they allowed to live in their own homeland without being murdered by drones from a foreign country?
Why isn't their own country responsible to oversee their own people? Why is it our job?

at least you used "had" ties...
past tense. The real deal.
you're coming around...
I don't think we're going to other countries based on belief systems. It's where the bad guys are.

Hey Gina, the Taliban admits they lied. In other words, they confirm you are full of it. And you know what the it is you are full of and it is not information.

Updated and Edited response:
Finally read the press release, and yes they do admit they his death was covered up. One of the reasons given was that the US said it was withdrawing it's troops at the end of 2014. So they felt that it would be better if the US just left and then the fighters learned of it. They cited prior Islamic precedence going back to the time of Abu Bakr when news of his death was delayed and the Sahaba (companions of the Prophet) had to fight the Battle of Yarmuk.
I think people should be told when someone has passed. In the situation over there, I think they might have to bury their dead covertly before announcing it to the masses due to drones being sent to funerals etc. Two years is a long time, but they know the situation better than anyone who is not over there, and it was their decision.
Mullah Mansoor's successorship is a natural progression, because it was Mullah Omar himself who put him in the position to oversee many things after Mullah Obaidullah Akhond died while in a Pakistani prison, and Mullah Bararder was captured and held in a Pakistani prison. He also has experience back with the Soviet war jihad etc.
The last part of the article says that some of the Afghans are defecting to the Islamic State. This is not true and there will be NO MERGER with them due to different ideologies. If you want to know something scary, I recently found out, that in the Bible when young David went to fight against the huge 9 foot tall Goliath, with only his slingshot and some rocks, after he killed him launching a rock to the center of his forehead, he cut his head off. (The story is at 1 Samuel 17, the head cutting off is 1 Samuel :17:51). Now the Islamic State has not read the Bible, where do their practices come from? What existed before Islam? Judaism and Zoroastrianism. Than God decided to try one last time with a group of people to see if they would keep his laws better than the previous groups. Archangel Gabriel was sent to Muhammad, who was chosen to bring religion to the Arab peoples.
The situation with. There are differences among all the groups and factions. Omar's passing at this time forces transition, tightening up the ranks and eventually unification of the good group versus the other groups.
