Thought it was worth airing this, as I have noticed how Muleman1994 clams up and vanishes every time it gets asked. You should try it, it"s like insect repellent!

So, what do you think? Was the Jewish Holocaust fake news? Or a left wing spin ?

Although it is certainly disturbing and offensive, it is not illegal to deny the Holocaust, so why don't Holocaust denialists ever talk about it or explain how they came to this conclusion?

It would also be interesting to see if the Holocaust deniers are the same folks who are always hollering "fake news" and if they are Trump supporters.

The "fake news" crowd seem to be engaging in historical revisionism as it occurs. It would fit the pattern if they just as easily denied history.

It is weirder than sci-fi, a form of voluntary brainwashing. George Orwell couldn't have come up with this - you can't make this stuff up folks!

Or, maybe you can, just make it all up.

Happy Easter!

Dwight Eisenhower was prescient. As soon as the camps were liberated he insisted on getting cameras in to record the horrors. Knew there would be people who denied it one day.

I think Mule has his browser set to ignore any pages, posts or articles with the word “holocaust”.

Smart cat. How did Eisenhower know? I wonder what historical precedents made him so cautious ? That's an interesting fact, thx emr, there is certainly more to that story.

At that time it would seem that the two biggest cases of national amnesia would have been slavery and the genocide of the Native American.

I would speculate that he had already heard some chirping from at least a small contingent of deniers, possibly even in his own chain of command.

The U.S. army had film cameras with them as did some the Ernie Pyles (press) they knew something was up, but didn't know to what degree. My grandfather's unit liberated one of the camps, I forget which one, and he personally had footage that he had taken which was unfortunately lost in a house fire decades ago.

My great grandparents left Germany while the holocaust was happening and my Grandmother even had to learn some German while they were still there. Fortunately we are all blond and were not Jewish so that is how they survived. They did not like what was going on and got out of there, coming over on the boats like everybody else did who was able to do so.
