I don't pay that much attention to the NFL anymore or the Raiders but this entire episode has been front and center on sports talk radio for all of training camp and preseason with the whole helmet situation. Someone on KNBR, about a month ago, said it was all a distraction that AB didn't want to play for the Raiders.

The last 2 or 3 days have been really nuts with AB calling the GM a "cracker"....LOL...then AB recording Gruden on the phone while Gruden is saying to the public that AB is playing. The sports talk community around here are saying the GM has no power at the Raiders that Gruden threw him under the bus when he announced AB was going to play. Then today I see 2 different headlines...one he's be released and another that he's been signed to the Patriots. Let's see how long he gets away with it in NE

I don't think it takes a genius to figure out that Brown's agent and the Pats had been talking before Brown posted on Instagram this morning "Release Me." And if you had knowledge of that and leaked it to the press, with the kind of money involved here, you might end up dead.

Yup. I'd like to know what happened behind the scenes because it seems like it was already set up. Leave it to the Pats to do something like this. Guess I was totally wrong on what I thought would happen.

Wow....just amazing . It will be interesting to see how this works out in NE. Better straighten up and fly right playing for BB. Talent out weighs character? Seems to. Would not want that drama playing for a team I was a fan of.

Can’t be too qwik to judge, innocent til proven guilty, these claims have been made previously against young millionaire athletes, by people who turned out to be unscrupulous & their claims, a way to get money
If guilty of what he’s been charged with,, obviously he deserves to be punished
