I saw that. And I've seen him use those exact words before, and I believe possibly to the same reporter when confronted with reality, his actions, and HIS FAILURES. He's a TV prez that can't handle facts when confronted. This is not the definition of leadership.
The worst part of the press conference was the entire time Trump was speaking.

The travel restrictions put in place early on were a good move. The whole testing kits roll out timeline was way off. For a country our size it takes time to build up an infrastructure on a national level. Its surreal, I saw a press reporter get hostile asking if the President was getting tested. his personal medical choices are between him and his doctor and not a press reporter trying to play the blame game. Awareness and social distancing now is happening on a bigger scale with industry taking the lead in shutting down businesses, sports and theme parks. There is a bit of a panic mentality setting in, but can you blame people because the media is telling us that the US will become like the pictures coming out of Italy very soon.
Its way too hard to predict whats coming in the next month and if it will be better or worse than right now. Trumps Presidency will be tested .
One thing coming out of this is the realization that the pharmaceutical supply chain has been out-sourced to China and India. Trump may do good here because you all know he revived the steel industry because he had enough common sense to realize we were out-sourcing our National Security.

Remember that Trump likes "numbers" - keep a cruise ship out at sea knowing that the "numbers" would go up. What's most baffling to me is how when in these press situations, the people behind or beside him can keep such straight faces all the while knowing Trump is completely ignorant about the subject at hand. I do wonder if when away from the mental midget they laugh their asses off over the stupid shit that comes out of his mouth.
Enough stupidity going on with both sides. Be it the media and the politicians, maybe some are just way too smart to figure that out?

What's most baffling to me is how when in these press situations, the people behind or beside him can keep such straight faces all the while knowing Trump is completely ignorant about the subject at hand. I do wonder if when away from the mental midget they laugh their asses off over the stupid shit that comes out of his mouth.
I often look at the people behind the President or at a table when Trump is giving some comments before a meeting. I look around and when Trump says something that makes me wince or laugh I look at the faces or body language of other people around. You sometimes see some parsed lips or eyes glancing down. Unfortunately, Trump is always the least qualified, intelligent or respected person in the room.
