You certainly qualify for the "Atta-oy of the Month" with that proclamation!

Thanks for participating in the voting process...

I just don't see many Republicans casting votes for Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden. Good thing Bernie stepped aside after he raked in millions again for his political business so the choice is easier for the Romney-Republicans.

There seem to be at least two Republicans right here in the Whipping Post who said they plan to vote for Biden, plus another former Trump voter who said he was not going to vote for him this time (although he didn't specifically say he was going to vote for Biden).

The national polls right now show Biden significantly ahead of Trump. Of course we are still a long way away from the election and the Republicans seem to be doing everything they can already to suppress the vote, even going as far as trying to drive the post office out of business. Of course we all know that it will all come down to a handful of swing states, and we already saw what the Republicans did in Wisconsin. I don't rule anything out, but it seems like the Republicans seem to be scared of losing the election without cheating.

Truth

Make that 2, here's a Libertarian who will be voting directly against Joe Biden and the Democrats this time around.

The national polls right now show Biden significantly ahead of Trump

Are these the same Polls that projected Hillary to win by a landslide?...Pretty simple, either you don't believe in polls, or you are elated when they reflect your sympathies.

Which is it?

Well, I certainly wasn't referring to you. You have made it painfully clear that you would never vote for a Democrat under any circumstance, so it wouldn't have mattered who the Democrats would have picked. However, there are both Republicans and Democrats who vote across party lines. If there weren't, the same party would win every election. Some of us have even changed parties over the years.

2112, I believe you are referring to me as I recall making such a statement in an older thread.

I know I'm not voting for Trump so I will not directly be impeding Biden's bid, but I am not supporting Biden either. As of now I expect to be voting third party as I have twice before during both Obama elections. But Biden will be ok, the Democrats could've done worse...I just wish he was a few years younger.

February 7: A Day That Will Live in Infamy
by Tim Miller and Barry Rubin April 23, 2020 9:04 am

February 7 is a day that changed the world.
It’s a day that defines the Trump administration’s failures on COVID-19.
A day that will shape the campaign around the president’s reelection.
On February 7, Dr. Li Wenliang, the Chinese ophthalmologist who sounded the alarm about COVID-19, succumbed to the virus. After sending a WeChat message to a group of other doctors about the virus’ spread, he was detained by the Chinese government and forced to sign a statement denouncing his warning as an unfounded and illegal rumor.
His death following this shameful and destructive treatment by the Chinese government should have been a wake-up call to America’s leaders.
Instead, when Trump was asked about China’s handling of the outbreak later that day, the U.S. president delivered Chinese government propaganda. (Again.)
And a few hours after that, Trump’s State Department announced that they were sending 17.8 tons of donated medical equipment—supplies that American hospitals would soon desperately need—to China.
February 7 changed everything.
