If you could put together a great lineup for a Bluesfest (anyone alive & totally your choice),(well known-or lesser known artists) It could be any size from a few acts to a major massive festival ! If you were the promoter with unlimited funds, what would it be?

I think mine would be something like this;

The Allman Brothers (latest rendition) Headliner on Day 1
Black Crows,John Meyer (blues show),Govt Mule (blues set) Dickey Betts,
Sonny Landreth,Doyle Bramhall w/Andy Fairweather Low (and/special guests),Gary Clarke jr
Susan Tedeschi,Bonnie Raitt,Ray Lamontange,Grace Potter,John Hammond jr
Matt Schofield,Blackie & Rodeo Kings,Keb Mo,Matt Anderson,Taj Mahall,

Jimmy Page blues set, then sitting in w/ Derek & the Dominos as Headliner on Day 2
Jeff Beck early blues set,Jethro Tull (earliest blues rendition),Keith Richards w/Mick Taylor doing a blues set
Fleetwood Mac (early rendition w/Peter Green,Spencer, etc) DTB,Savoy Brown,
Eric Burden,Albert Lee,Joe Walsh,Joe Bonamasso,Canned Heat,
Aerosmiths Steven Tyler & Joe Perry blues set together,Andy Fairweather Low w/Doyle Bramhall (and/special guests),

Hold the festival in a no curfew hour zone allowing bands to play later, till 2 or 3am like years ago.
Perhaps have stages thruout which would allow impromptu jamming of major artists if they were inclined to.

of course with this lineup Derek Trucks would have a lot of showtime; the Allman Bros,Derek & Dominoes,DTB,Susan Tedeschi & possibly Doyle Bramhall.
It would make for a great festival,in fact he could play with anyone there & make things very interesting.
Too bad this lineup would prob never happen.

Keeping the list focused on blues performers. All currently above ground and playing shows...

Buddy Guy
Luther "Guitar Junior" Johnson & The Magic Rockers
Jimmie Vaughan & The Tilt-A-Whirl Band
Guitar Shorty
James Cotton
Charlie Musselwhite
Ronnie Earl & The Broadcasters
Selwyn Birchwood
Tinsley Ellis
Savoy Brown
Marquise Knox
Melvin Taylor
Popa Chubby
John Mayall
Ronnie Baker Brooks
Walter Trout
Tab Benoit

I probably forgot a couple or three worthy additions but those were the first ones I thought of just now.

I'm a rock-blues guy so my dream would go heavy on blues rockers:

The Mick Taylor Band
TTB
ABB
Peter Green with the Mac backing him up
A Yardbirds extravaganza with Beck, Page, and Clapton
