Savoy Brown should've been included in that list...

I didn't scroll the entire list. Is Golden Earring on there?

(Oops! Misread the intent! I thought we were looking at bands that had the same members for the longest time.)

My initial thought was Rainbow, but they did not last half as long as some of these other acts, so they did not have as many opportunities to keep shifting members!

This.

Joe Whiting sang and played sax with Kim's "Savoy Brown" here in CNY.

Kim lives in Oswego and hires local musicians to play with him as SB.

We've joked that my bass playing brother should be included as a Kevin Bacon "One Step Removed" type thing, he's played with a ton of the CNY "members" over the years.

That is cool Kim lives in Oswego, I grew up in CNY myself now live in Albany.

Wow. Jelly Belly. 780 members.

ABB. 1.Duane Allman, 2.Gregg Allman, 3.Dickey Betts, 4.Berry Oakley, 5.Butch Trucks, 6. Jai Johnny Johnson, 7. Chuck Leavell, 8. Lamar Williams, 9. Dan Toler, 10.David Goldflies, 11.Jim Esery, 12. David Toler, 13.Mike Lawler, 14.Warren Haynes, 15.Allen Woody, 16. Johnny Neal, 17.Marc Quinones, 18. Thom Doucette, ( listed and pictured as member on 1992 Evening With First Set) 19. Jack Pearson, 20. Otiel Burbridge, 21. Derek Trucks, 22. Jimmy Herring.

22. Is that right?

Bruce Waibel and a Mr. McCoy played bass on the Allman Brothers Band two shows in 1986. I have a picture taken of the band to promote the New York Show and Gregg, Dickey, Butch, Jaimoe, Chuck, Dan Toler, Bruce Waibel and McCoy are standing there as the Allman Brothers Band but Bruce Waibel was Gregg's bass player and McCoy was Dickey's bass player in their solo bands in 1986. I doubt they were ever considered members.

Also of note, every member beyond the original six were hired personnel. Only the original members were partners, owners and had voting power to decide band business. For example in late 1990 Johnny Neal's contract was up it was not renewed. When Warren and Allen's expired, they quit. Same for Jack Pearson. Oddly when Warren and Allen quit, Gregg said they had just voted to invite Warren and Allen to become full members with voting power. I'm not sure if Warren or Derek eventually became full members.
