Bernard Purdie. Haha

No, it's John, by a fair margin. Paul is obviously a wonder of the world and George had his moments, but John's music was transcendent and revolutionary. It - and his likeness - will stand the test of time.

Jimmy Nicol 😮
4-way tie for me
that's an unequalled '15 minutes of fame' -- virtually a stranger off the street>became a Beatle>back into anonymity

George. I loved his lead guitar playing. I think he pioneered the electric guitar as a soloing instrument in pop music whereas horns and piano were dominant before The Beatles became popular/

George.

Agreed. I remember my first GH "Fix"...My father had brought me "Meet the Beatles" and on that record is a cut called "Don't bother me"...Man I wore that track out thinking George's double tracked voice was the coolest thing...

If I recall correctly "All things must pass" was released within weeks of George's departure from the Beatles and all songs were written by GH, submitted and rejected by the remaining "Fab 3"....

I saw Sir Paul in 2002 in PHX. One of the moments I recall clearly was about George. Well two actually. Paul told the crowd that he was in his car when he got the news about George's passing....and pulled over and wept....

The other ( Paul sitting at the piano ) a telling of being invited to George's Castle for a dinner party. Arriving to find the Wilbury's and some other musicians in attendance as well. Dinner is served in the Castle's "Dining Hall" with one long table and George in a Throne like chair at the head. As the dessert plates are being cleared
George leaves the room and minutes later returns pushing a cart full of boxes. He opened one and proceeded to walk around the table handing everyone a Cuban cigar, clipping it and lighting it....while making funny faces. He returned to his seat propped his feet up on the table and encouraged everyone to "Enjoy". "Then" Paul said "He arose, ambled over to the cart and opened some more boxes, each containing a Ukulele. As he pushed the cart around the table, he stopped and handed that guest a Uke. Once again he returned to his seat, just watching everyone pick and strum".."He gets up" Paul continued "And walks over to Tom Petty....with this big cigar in his teeth and reaches around him and directs Tom's fingers to some unusual chord only George would know. Everyone got a Uke lesson that night from George".....

Paul.

I know he's an uncool choice, and some of his stuff does make me cringe, but his bass playing is astonishing, and when he belts, like in "Oh Darling," it slays me.

I like them all for their respective strengths, but John is my favorite.
His songwriting was the best of all four by far to me and I just loved his voice especially early; a hard days night, help, etc. However, George's all things must pass is a masterpiece outshining all of the post Beatles solo work.
