Where is everybody?

Just seeing where everybody is at. Things appear to be pretty slow around here these days. Not
much movement of topics. With Greggs unfortunate passing it did pick up quite a bit,but over the last couple of months it
has calmned back down. Hopefully this is not a sign .
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Well, I'm heading from Long Island,NY to Macon, GA on Sunday. Flying into Atlanta tomorrow. Catching the Mets vs. Braves game at the new Sun Trust Park (Mets suck, but I like to visit different stadiums when I can). Heading to Savannah on Sunday with a several hour stopover in Macon on the way. Very excited for the trip.
Summer was filled with Gov't Mule at Summerstage in Central Park, Dead & Co. at Citifield, Peachfest in Scranton, PA. Looking forward to 2 nights at the Beacon with TTB & another Dead & Co. show at Madison Square Garden, all in October.
I will agree with the other thread - Gov't Mule is on fire right now!

I'm back to work teaching after a summer of bartending.
I caught a great TTB show over the summer but am putting my cash toward a new roof rather than any concerts in the immediate future. This does mean I am missing some good ones - King Crimson is coming around, TTB will be at the Beacon....I may try to catch the Magpie Salute, as that is an inexpensive show.

When I ran out of Life No. 9, we extended the range to officially: Cat of 13 Lives. So I'm on Life No. 10.
Curmudgeoness does fit with age............ Like grouchy old Neil Young, being annoyed is effin cool at this point.............
Musically we await NW close by stops on any TTB or Warren travelling show. Allman / Betts will be one to look out for it sounds. want to see Los Lobos and Lucinda and others. Need Neil again.
Am real busy looking for lease digs for "Inland Fitness" a training studio run by an old ABB hippie type. Jan 1 is my target deadline to open. Bought a bunch of pro gear in piles awaiting a home. People want private training by seasoned person it seems, we have two lined up to train. Exciting for lil ole me.

Sounds like a great trip. Mrs and I were in Savanah not long ago and a few cool places were:
Pinkie Masters for a good local dive bar.
Alligator Soul for a nice dinner or The Olde Pink house if you want classic and more formal:

Repping the left coast. I miss the activity too. Things change and people move on one way or the other. I still have fun when I visit though. The Road Goes On Forever...

As long as you keep stocking the fridge with beer, I will keep showing up.
Good luck on the adventure, Tony! If not for distance, this fat old hippy would sign up in a second.

I'm focused on baseball right now but my October and November concert calendar is filling up quickly.
I'm looking forward to Trombone Shorty, Phil and the Family Band, Bob Dylan, Elephant Revival, Jimmy Herring and John McLaughlin, John Prine, and Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt.
I think the Nationals are a long shot for the World Series. I really want that to happen but I gotta say, the expense will be extraordinary. I'll try to make at least one game of each round going as far as the Nationals take me.
Speaking of, I'm off to the second game of the Dodgers/Nats series now. I had a good time last night but would have liked a different outcome. I've got a friend, Dodger fan, in from Florida for the weekend series. Seeing him has been great.
