This new Dutch band would fit this bill too, IMHO:
The Tibbs:
And due to the music bizz being in serious decline most bands limit their promos to lyric videos The Tibbs have some modest yet neat videos:
Okay, I'll play:
Aquarium Rescue Unit (plan B: Jimmy Herring Band)
Jeff Beck
TTB
If Jimmy Herring Band, he may have to find a new bass player because I would bet Oteil will be on the road with Dead and Company next year.

Freight Train
Gregg Allman

Seriously though:
Jason Isbell

No problem, Jimmy can take Neal Fountain out on the road as he has in the past with both Jimmy Herring Band as well as Apt. Projects and other gigs. Neal is a monster bass player on par with Oteil. Extremely melodic player, which is a bit odd on bass. I don't have any great youtube vid examples with bass soloing, but here are some fun clips nonetheless:
Mahavishu's "Dawn"
"Aberdeen"
Jason Isbell
Les Brers
DTB
Hey a guy can dream right?
Big fat wish list:
John Mayall with Mick Taylor
reunited Black Crowes
TTB
.....but if you want to throw Wilco in, that's cool too!
I'd second the previous suggestions for Jeff Beck and New Mastersounds.
I was halfway there with my previous two selections. This is what I really want to see:
TTB
Mavis Staples
The Word
TTB, Carolyn Wonderland and Sonny Landreth
