Warren Haynes & Ashes and Dust Band - Kursaal, Limbourg Belgium, 11-17-15, setlist and short review:

Short support act performance by Chessboxer

Followed by a 150 minutes (including encore) Warren Haynes & Ashes and Dust Band concert. One set. No break.
Setlist received after the show as follows (i think they stuck to this setlist; no last moment changes):

Opening jam / Imagine (instrumental)
Is it Me Or You
Tough Mama
Patchwork Quilt
Banks Of The Deep End
Skin It Back
Instrumental Illness
Word On The Wind
Crazy Fingers
Dusk Till Dawn
Stranded In Self Pitty
Hallelujah Boulevard >
Drums
Blue Sky
Spots Of Time

Encore:
Give Me Love... (Warren Haynes solo)
Angel Band >
Soulshine
Jessica

With almost every song listed above i could add: (Wow!).
What a fantastic concert. Was a seated show. Venue 3/5 or 3/4 filled in this seated configuration.
Sound: very good audio seperation of each instrument but sound was also rather loud. Even for my standards
( 😛 ) sound could have been less loud. Maybe it felt extra loud because everybody was seated and venue was not filled to capacity. Due to the Paris, France terrorist attack the audience was maybe a bit subdued but this also meant that every song received a big crowd response but during the songs you could hardly notice any talkers or obnoxious drunks. Warren didn't address the Paris France tragedy verbally. No "Bono"-speeches from Warren but he did it stylishy and restraintful by adding specific songs and teases in tonights setlist. With "Imagine" the most clearly one. When the show was over and the last titbits of "Jessica" were played he again added a little "Imagine" tease. Standout songs: well, a whole bunch. "Instrumental Illness" was mindblowing.
His bluegrass / country arrangement of "Blue Sky" was another highlight for me. Great musicians in his band who got a lot of room to stretch out. And Jeff Sipe kicks ass! Was glad he played so many ABB related material, songs from his Ashes & Dust album which i enjoy a lot and a great selection of well known and lesser known cover material. What a fantastic night of music. Strongly recommended!

Great review! Thanks.

How was the "Give Me Love"?

Last night I saw Stevie Wonder. He teased "Imagine" but didn't play it. He did play "People Get Ready" and many other songs filled with love and promise.

Maybe our musician can save the world.

After watching the show streamed from Philly (actually during the stream), I bought tickets for an upcoming DC show. It was a three hour drive and absolutely worth it to catch this band, plus we got a Ron Holloway sit in on Skin It Back!!! Much more enjoyable than the show with the RRE folks.
