Fun show...couldnt hear most of first set...it was like sitting at a bar with very loud talkers...as the sun set Warren & the gang kicked into gear & the show was pretty darn enjoyable...too bad, because of the noise,it was difficult to hear the orchestra & its subtleties....

I enjoyed the show last night and yes, the sound seemed to be at a lower volume due to the orchestra. I thought Warren with the orchestra was hit and miss. It worked well with songs like Morning Dew where the orchestra filled in space with the song. With other songs it just seemed like over the top.

Warren's playing was very structured and restrained as he was playing with 25 other instruments. It was different to see that.

Glad I caught them at Bethel two nights earlier with dead center orch seats so the sound was stellar. Besides one particular fan who obviously had a man crush on Warren yelling "I love you Warren" at least two times per song the rest of the crowd was pretty quiet and intent on listening.

That sounds like a great evening of music - summer night in the park - symphonic versions of Jerry classics. Wow. I hope he keeps this project going, would love to hear this. Don't think you could beat Central Park though, that sounds like a dream.

Friend of mine reported that Warren Jerry symphony was unbelievable at Red Rocks Colorado- said it was the best Terrapin Station he ever heard, and Jerry's guitar was haunted for sure.
