All you have to do is look at the musical interaction, eye contact and mid-jam smiles between Warren and Jack on this video, to quickly understand the vibe of this song that was created by the late and great Toy Caldwell of the Marshall Tucker Band.

Derek thanks for posting the link to "Can't You See" from the Xmas Jam. While your description of said video is a good one for me it goes much deeper than that. Sharing the same age as both Warren and Jack, 54, coming from the same background, being born and raised in a small Southern town and sharing the same love of music (If only I had just a little of the talent!) - I remember when Southern Rock hit and the tremendous effect it had on me and still does to this day. I remember reading a Gregg Allman quote from the Charlotte Observer talking about Marshall Tucker. Gregg said, "They're so good it's scary." I remember following a friend's brother's band that patterned themselves after Marshall Tucker - same instrumentation, same picking with the thumb, same cowboy hats. I remember dreaming of being in the Allman Brothers, Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker. I know that Warren and Jack had the same dreams. Seeing this video is like a realization of that dream for me and I'm sure a hundred (a thousand?) other kids from the South and the entire world. So ... thanks Derek, Warren, Jack, the MTB and the ABB. A great Southern song seems to ask a question that we already know the answer. Will you still remember me? Can't you see what that woman has been doing to me? Damn right I sure can. Peace, God bless and Happy New Year. Cool
