I was lucky enough to meet Twiggs once at a record show in Philly while he was with the Dregs. They were making an appearance at the show if I remember correctly. He was browsing thru some albums and I noticed his peach tattoo with the brothers initials around it.

I said hi and he proceeded to recommend some records I should buy. He was as nice as could be to a complete stranger.

Sad that he is gone. Truly one of a kind. I would have enjoyed his recollections of his career in the biz.

He told us something the band used to say about him. "Twiggs on the wall, Twiggs on the ball".

RIP brother.

The only one that I can remember was a 45 of Bill Doggett's Honky Tonk part 2.
