Sounded good to me - I would have been happy to have been in the audience

Dang, tough crowd.

Some video of same performance. Too bad DT is hidden for the fist 90 seconds:

Not sure how this is possibly viewed as "lame". The band giving Santana a nod, on his birthday, in Woodstock, NY, by doing the signature tune from the signature Woodstock set, that catapulted Santana to superstardom is about as classy a move as could have been be done. Good on you, DT.

Sorry but comments like this are extremely lame. And so tired.

As for the Santana Jam, it was a special treat in a fantastic show. This NMAllstars, Lobos, TTrucks tour has been so much fun. Set lists have been diverse and the sit-ins have been memorable. All 3 bands on the same bill seems to be raising their games as well.

That was fun! Not many bands can just go out and turn out Soul Sacrifice, the drumming brought the power! Thanks for posting, IP. Cool

Solid version, though nothing touches the Woodstock one, ever.

One thing to keep in mind is audio quality on YouTube. On this video, Derek and Co seem to be playing a simple riff a bit repetitively at the end. A better audio would make it more obvious that this is being done so the drummers can go nuts. In this video, the drums aren't loud or clear.

You can watch them rehearse it at the link. Can't wait to see what they have planned for Detroit on Sunday.
