Another spectacular run. It really was. The "Anyday > Blue Sky > Anyday" raised the bar. The same night featured "Had to Cry Today", "Leaving' Trunk > Volunteered Slavery" as well as a rousing "Space Captain" that led into "Bitches Brew" > "Let Me Get By".

Derek is just on fire.

The after parties with the Ron Holloway Band, Friday's especially were also great.

Man... I love going to see live music.

"A Song For You" on Saturday had me weeping.

Just great, great music.

These are all phenomenal...The Brothers' influence shines through so much, its truly so exciting to see, Duane's in particular. Not only the playing (thats obvious), but my own well-researched impression of Duane (from father's stories, to my own discovery) and where he was going or would have wanted to take his musical genius is really being carried out to some existential/greater than life sense with Derek and his OWN musical genius. He's created a 12 piece band that jams, rocks, funks, and infuses energy into a crowd every night on its own terms. Duane would have been very proud and maybe even jealous of what Derek has put together and how it has now shaped up to be the best band (live or otherwise) performing today. Just my humble opinion. Enjoy these, the sound is awesome on all.
