Caught some TTB yesterday on AXS TV at the Southern Grind Festival.
There was a quick interview before their set and I liked this little twist. Susan said "Eric Clapton got to play WITH Derek. Gregg Allman got to play WITH Derek. I wanted to play with Derek too, I mean he is My Husband."
I DVR's and watched a little bit of the Southern Ground festival coverage on AXS over the weekend. The TTB set was great as was Derek & Susan's sit in on The Beatles "I Got A Feeling" with the Zac Brown Band.
I enjoyed the energy of Michael Franti & Spearhead and what little they aired of Bruce Hornsby's set.
I was also glad to see The Muddy Magnolias get some TV time. I saw them open for Gary Clark Jr. in February and those two ladies have powerful voices.
I didn't even know Marshall Tucker Band was still touring, but I tried to watch their set and what I saw was pretty bad.
The rest of the acts didn't do much for me from what I sampled.
