Can't say I disagree with many of them. Reminds me of being a little kid. Great musical era. Beats the hell out of the 80's, that's for sure!

A lot of the music on that list was cult stoner rock when it came out, listened to on FM by longhair highschool hoods like me and did not define the era at all. A lot of hard rock didn't become "classic" until later.
They have no clue of the searching highway vibe of the 70s, for which you don't need 200 drugfiend songs and need look no further than the immortal statement of its time:
