It's hard to believe it's been 5 years now. A lot of things have changed since 2014. One thing that hasn't changed is how much I love the Allman Brothers Band. If anything I appreciate them more now that they're gone.

I miss them too. Saw my first show in January 1970 and that band hooked me instantly. There was a vibe, feel and energy coming from the band and the way they played music that hooked me like a drug.
Hang on to your albums and live shows because The Allman Brothers Band will never play again. They decided over the years they could play with Duane Allman, Berry Oakley, Chuck Leavell, Dickey Betts and Jaimoe but nobody has any interest in playing as the Allman Brothers without Gregg Allman.
For me they are the best darn band I ever heard.
