The Great SoundCloud Purge of 2015 Has Begun

Sounds like it only relates to samples of actual licensed recordings. Hopefully this isn't the beginning of radical change at SoundCloud. There aren't many other options for amateur or independent musicians to house their music and create streaming playlists (I attempted to use Podsnack, but it will cost you $80 annual if you have a song over 5 minutes).

People bitching because they can't just freely steal other artists material and do what they want with it.
"That Soundcloud sure has some nerve. Makes me so mad that I am almost tempted to stop using the free service."
Good for them for doing the right thing. Maybe people should try writing their own material.

I bandcamp.com a viable option? I've purchased quite a bit of music from artist on that site.
