The Eat a Peach Tribute Guitar MADE THE GOAL!

The results are in and the Eat a Peach Tribute Guitar Indiegogo Crowdfund MET IT'S GOAL! There are many people to thank for the success of this effort to bring this special instrument to the Allman Brothers Band's very awesome Big House Museum in Macon Georgia. Make sure to visit!
The beginning of this beautiful ride can most certainly be credited to Warren “Skoots” Lyndon for his initial outreach to show his deep appreciation for the Eat a Peach Tribute Guitar, which I made out of love and respect for the music of the Allman Brothers Band.
Big thanks go to Richard Brent, Director of the Big House Museum and to ABB manager Bert Holman for their stamp of approval on this project.
Big thanks to all the good folks we met in Georgia this past summer when we came down to show the guitar to the Big House Museum. We could not have had a better time. The icing on the cake was playing the night away on the Eat a Peach guitar with David “Trash” Cole at Grant's Lounge, wow!
Big thanks to the folks who added their best
to make the perks awesome- Peter “Psychodelik Pete” Nogas, Michael Pierce, Dorothy Royle, Kevin Stiles, Sheptone Pickups, the generous ticket donor, and 93 Main Cafe!
And HUGE thanks to ALL the folks who donated to this campaign directly through the many donations, and also for the encouragement and strong support to help spread the word. And very big and heartfelt thanks go to the anonymous donor from Juliette Georgia who at the end, made sure the campaign reached its goal. This has been a most awesome experience to bring the Eat a Peach Tribute Guitar to the Big House Museum.
The music of the Allman Brothers Band lives on! The artwork by James Flournoy Holmes and David Powell of Wonder Graphics on the epic Eat a Peach album captured all the moods and colors of the music and the times and most certainly lives on! My life as an artist and a musician has been impacted by these talented folks who have taken us on the journey as the Road goes on Forever! Let's all raise a glass, put on Mountain Jam and enjoy! That's great, congratulations!
I wonder if your anonymous donor might be Bill Lucado. He lives in the Gray/Juliette, GA area, has the means, and is big ABB fan and musicologist who supports musicians and artist when he can.
One of my wife's friends is from Gray. Her Dad is friend's with Bill, so her wedding reception was held at his property/estate. It was quite the scene. His house was full of ABB and Derek Truck's Band stuff. He was also handing out flyers for his pre ABB show party that he had planned for that summer at his home. He had Taj Mahal and members of the Derek Trucks Band scheduled to perform and the Food Network was suppose to be there taping as it was an enormous crawfish boil as well. Anyways the whole ABB connection certainly made the whole evening alot more interesting to me. Plus meeting Bill was a trip, he is a character. My wife's friend's Dad was actual the Sheriff, so the juxtaposition of all the law enforcement and Bill was something to see. That said Bill seemed like he must have spent his money wisely because he certainly seemed above the law!

You can read about Lucado and his involvement with Music Makers and his fishing trip with Taj, Derek Trucks, and Jimmy Herring. Dickey Betts was down there too, check the video:

Anyways, congraulations again. Look forward to seeing the guitar at the Big House. If you google Bill Lucado you can probably track him down. I'm willing to bet he was your donor.

Congrats. That's great.
Good call on Luckadoo.
If you have a basic info sheet on this, please send my way and I'l get the word out a little.
