The last surviving member of the Allman Joys, Bill Connell, has started a Kickstarter campaign to fund the publishing

Thank you so much for sharing this piece of information.

In my opinion there is no better way to keep alive the music and memories of the ABB than by the many books and articles that chronicle the humble beginnings of what we know now as the origins of Southern Rock and more so, IMO one if not the greatest band of all time.

I look forward to seeing this project become reality just as so many others have done before with their own works. GOD SPEED Bill Connell as you move foreword with your story!

Hear Hear. I agree. The Allman Joys is an important part of the beginning. 31st of February and Second Coming too.

I loved Gregg singing Old Man River, it was as soulful as Otis doing Dock of the Bay.
