I thought Devon & Co. really nailed this one.  Devon introduced this tune with, "I'm going to pay tribute to my Uncle and do The Derek and The Dominoes version."  FYI, yes, Sierra Green, Larry McCray and Jimmy Hall all appeared at this show.  This is one of the few tunes where Devon only used his core band.  I was not happy with the volume at first but once I got it on my big screen through the soundbar I discovered the volume was fine, it just needed a push.  I have TONS more, both of this show and Tab Benoit, same venue, the following night, and of course those will be coming soon.  Nice one week roadtrip!  I spent the next four days in Ruidoso, New Mexico.  Beautiful mountain town, worth checking out, but CHECK WEATHER ALERTS before you travel.  They had severe flooding only two months ago and two people died.  No problems while I was there although we did have some light rain.  And oh by the way, if you happen to be in Ruidoso, check out Quarter's Nightclub and Grill.  I heard some GREAT country music there, Brendan Dawes.  I met him, what a nice guy.  I don't have any problem with country music if it's the REAL thing, and this dude is the REAL thing.  His band is the house band @ Quarter's, three nights per week.  Without me even mentioning Warren or ABB, he offered up that he's personal friends with Warren Haynes.
