I remember before I had purchased a computer, sitting in
an internet café around 1997, surfing the web for the very first time,
and landing on The Hittin' the Web page. What a shock it was to have all
this new found information in front of me. I sat there for 10 hours straight!
HTW then was an 'old school web page' and guest book . I would 'freak out'
if I ever saw it again.

I have loved the ABB SINCE 1972 a huge fan. I wasn't a big pc user so it took a longer time for me to find my way here. THANKFULLY you had created a place for all the lovers of this band where we could meet ,chat ,exchange music , ideas , explore new music ,be introduced to blues in new ways, find new friends , post and share videos and pictures ,have a place called the whipping post where more passionate followers could dicuss current events , or more music.
Love Love LOVE this place.
With the facebook world our site here has changed and we've lost some of our friends here to facebook, It makes me sad.
I am not a facebook follower . I will always come to ABB Hitting the web or Dickey Betts sites as long as they exist and again I Thank you for that, deeply.
