Ya know I only come around once in awhile these days ..Thanks for reminding me to visit those pages... Lamar was the man... he's with the brothers in heaven , watching tonight for sure. It's gonna be a ~good time~ up there in heaven...

Too many great memories....lots of hours sitting in front of my record player moving the needle back and saying....what did he just play......going over the songs time and time again....trying to figure out every little nuance
Great stuff....finding bootlegs through friends and listening to the power that they played with.....9/16/71......8/26/71.....12/31/70...... are some of my favorite shows
Captn Skippers remix of 6/26/71....amazing it's like you're standing on stage with them....it so 3D in sound....
not to mention all the other gems I got from him.....
Thank you to the band....This last version was special....I saw some great shows with Derek and Warren....UC Berkeley was mind blowing....Dreams -> WP -> MTN Jam -> Layla....I still haven't gotten over that mini set
