Certainly not my favorite venue, but I've seen some GREAT shows there including Further, The Who, Santana, Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton.......so it is possible to get a top notch show there and I suspect TTB will deliver.

TTB will bring it regardless of where they play!!

As far as Mohegan Sun goes, I will admit I only went there once. It was the triple bill of Queensryche, Alice Cooper, and Heaven and Hell. We were in the back of the arena and it was insanely loud. Crazy feedback. Painful. Maybe I should blame the band (s) but it just felt like a lousy sounding venue.

Also kind of a tinny joint. It felt like a hockey arena stuck in a casino; I'm just way too spoiled by groovy theaters.

I still got tickets. Floor seats, back corner of the floor, so hopefully good.

I think the casino has a small venue AND a big one, like a theater and an arena. I assume this show would be at their larger venue, the arena?

I agree that sound is largely a function of the performing bands. I saw Clapton from the area on the floor you are mentioning and the sound was great.

Unlike Foxwoods, Mohegan really only has the larger arena location. Their smaller location is uber tiny and used more for 'cabaret' type of acts. They also have the Wolf Den for free shows but that literally is in the middle of the casino floor and not conducive to quality sound......
