I was walking along Crescent Beach south of St Augustine in mid February. I am wearing shorts and a T shirt, locals wearing 

coats. A fellow says is that a Georgia Peach tattoo? I responded no its an album cover Eat a Peach by the ABB. He paused for a second and says "us hippies are getting old" man I have been laughing for 2 months.

Yep next year Eat A Peach will be 50 years old!!! Old hippies indeed. 

Eat A Peach is one of the best albums ever released. Not only by the Allman Brothers but any band. 

And what great original songs on it. Far better than any album the band did from Win, Loose or Draw and the last studio release Hitting the Note. 

Ain't Waisting Time No More, Les Brer in A Minor, Melissa, One Way Out, Trouble No More, Stanback, Blue Sky, Little Martha and Mountain Jam. Every song a classic!!

I had a hand written note from Lyle Tuttle years ago when he responded to my query on the ABB tattoo. (pre internet days)

He sent the note with a drawing of the basic mushroom they all got. I think I read Lyle actually did one on himself too.

I gave that note to Richard at the Big House back in 2018. Not sure if they ever displayed it or not.

I considered adding a mushroom but did not want to explain to the grandkids.
