Story about Macon Ga on NPR's All Things Considered last night

I was on my way home from work last night listening to NPR and was surprised to hear a story from Macon Ga. Not only that but it had some ABB content .
It centered on the old Capricorn Records office and recording studio and the fact that both buildings are in such a sad state of deterioration that they both may have to be razed soon. There is a group that is struggling to raise the funds to turn the recording studio into a museum.
There was also a side story about the historic Grant's Lounge and it's major role in helping meld blues and country music into what became known as Southern Rock.
There is also a short story about Little Richard's childhood home which is currently in the way of a new freeway project.
The link has the original audio version of the story and a text version with a couple pictures and a short Otis Redding video.
Scroll down to the bottom of the story to find a coupler earlier NPR stores with ABB content.
Required listening for any ABB fan....!

I usually catch NPR on a daily basis , I missed it last night. Thanks for the heads up!!
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Thanks for posting, I will listen later.
I remember a few yrs ago, the studio was foreclosed, and I think the bank was asking $150k for it. The roof leaked, among other things. I had this hare-brained idea of turning it into a Peachhead retirement home!
I hope it does not get razed. It's not like the land has much value (downtown looks about half vacant as it is).
