Apologize if there is another thread on this, but I needed to express how thankful I am for these 2 people who had a vision and a love for this band which became this site. I have been on here since the 90's and it has changed and grown tremendously over the yrs. The friendships that have been made and the escalated experience of Allman Brother shows in general for me have been something I will never be able to express properly because it has literally changed my life.
Thank you so much for giving us this amazing place to share with like minded brothers and sisters.
I am honered to be associated with this fantastic extended family.
Lana and Rowland for everything you do and have done, it doesnt feel like enough but THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart 
Amen Dave! Whether or not other threads exist, you have said it well. From the old site to this one, they created a community that I have not seen elsewhere on the internet. Obviously took many awesome members also but Lana, Rowland and the ABB provided the platform.

Well said. I found this place in Spring 1997. My ABB experience has been significantly enhanced by the people I've met through here. And the ABB benefited greatly by their good work, too.

Love to those who started the place I've hung out in since 1999--and who became friends. 
Thanks for all you two have done. Who would've thought the Forum would last this long? 17 years so far. As the band evolves and plays with other players in their own band, at least they know they can count on you guys to provide the foundation that has been a mainstay as much as the music. A place to sit down and learn what's going on in music, politics and the world. There's no place else like this, and that's the biggest compliment to what you have created. Thank you!
Thanks for always helping me get the most enjoyment out of my favorite band, be it here or by running fan club presales. Without both of these things I could have never experienced so many great moments the same way time and time again.
What they all said Thanks for having the best band site in the land. I am going to miss the groove we all get into with the live shows. It was a hell of a run.

I'm glad I got to hug Lana and Rowland and tell them "thank you!" in person last night. I ran into them at Kirk's exhibit where I stopped by before walking up to Carmine's and there they were and I was so happy! I think it was fate that we ran into each other because I was wearing a t-shirt given to me by L&R for my 50th birthday. That shirt wanted to see them again and so did I.
Thank you both for the years of devotion to this site and to us fans.....

Dave, thanks for starting this thread -- you summed it all up. Lana and Rowland, you guys have touched so many lives positively over the years by building this site and maintaining it. My active time here was relatively brief but, like Dave said, totally changed my life. Thank you so much.
