Featuring JJ Grey, Anders Osborne & Luther Dickinson. Should be great shows!

I'm seeing them later this month. Downloaded a copy of their show at the Variety Playhouse from this week. I'm looking forward to seeing this.

Would love a copy of that. I'm sure they are really good!

Saw they were playing with WSP recently.

Near me next Sunday, will see about going. Anders and Dickinson played together at the same venue we went to last year, or maybe the year before after they recorded that CD together.

Saw them in Atlanta last week. I thought they were great, but I feel it's probably worth setting your expectations. The Southern Soul Assembly is not a band really, but rather a songwriter's circle. When I saw them, each of them took turns performing one of their own songs, starting with Marc, then JJ, then Anders, then Luther. Others would join in if they knew the tune, or to improvise - which meant that both Anders and Luther played on pretty much every song. To compare, I'd love to see them again at the end of the tour after they've worked with each other's songs for 4 weeks. Either way, if you like the solo singer-songwriter style and you like these 4, see them for sure.

If never seen them, but everything I've ever read pretty much matches what Vaylor wrote. This is the 3rd or 4th time they've done this tour so they probably have it down pretty well. Of course Luther and Anders have played together in NMO and other settings, so they may have a better musical relationship.
