A while back on Netflix I watched - Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon and loved it. This guy has had quite a career.

Quite an interesting character.

I also saw a piece on him on one of the CBS weekend shows, where I learned he has a book: They Call Me Supermensch: A Backstage Pass to the Amazing Worlds of Film, Food, and Rock 'N' Roll.

On that CBS show he told of being Groucho Marx's manager at one point and the interviewer asked him what Groucho was like, (paraphrasing) - "He was on, all the time. I walked in and he said 'are you my manager?' to which I replied yes. He then said 'funny, you don't look like a crook."

Here's a decent interview: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/features/shep-gordon-talks-alice-cooper-bond-new-memoir-w442168

Oh, the guy is also sort of credited with the birth of chef's as celebrity in this country.
