Selections for Next Crossroads Guitar Festival?

Hello All,
I'm not sure if this topic has already been discussed here.
If Clapton were to host another Crossroads Guitar Festival, who would you like to see an invitation extended to?
To make it interesting, let's keep the selections for a player or band that hasn't participated in any of the previous three festivals.
Here are my selections:
Jimmy Page and Tony Iommi
Martin Barre
Steve Howe
John Williams
Brian Setzer
Thanks,
Utilityman

Ronnie Earl
Robben Ford
Anson Funderburgh

Jack Pearson
Jimmy Herring
Brent Mason/The Players

Mark Knopfler
Bonnie Raitt
Brad Paisley (invited to the last one, but didn't make it)
Brian May (invited to the first one in 04, but couldn't make it)

Jack Pearson.
When's Clapton gonna wake up?

Very nice idea for a new topic.
Already saw some excellent suggestions:
Jack Pearson
Jimmy Herring
Tony Iommi
Martin Barre (could jam with Warren Haynes on "Thorazin Shuffle")
Others:
David Gilmour
Robin Trower
Rich Robinson
Kid Ramos
Lonnie Mack (unless his health doesn't allow it)
Dave Alvin (would be cool with regulars like Albert Lee and Vince Gill)
John Scofield
Luther Dickinson
Frank Marino (for a Jimi Hendrix tribute)

Kenny Wayne Shepherd!!

I second the nominations of John Scofiled, Jack Pearson & Luther Dickinson...
Zappa Plays Zappa
Chris Duarte
my supplemental/wild card pick would be George Lynch

John Primer

Ronnie Earl for sure... his story is the essence of what the crossroads benefits are about...
Robben Ford
Matt Schofield
Larry McCray
My pie in the sky selection would be:
Dickey, Warren, Derek & Jack - Let em rip through southbound, soulshine & stormy monday - That would set everything right.

Jason Isbell
Richard Thompson
Larry Carlton
Robben Ford
Jerry Douglas
Tony Rice
John Leventhal
I'd also like for them to invite some noted bass players
Rocco Prestia
David Hood
John McVie
On a side note I'd love to put Richard Thompson and Derek Trucks in the studio at Swamp Raga for a week and see what comes out. Arguably the most inventive players of their generations

Mick Taylor
Steve Hackett

Nice topic. I second the Larry McCray suggestion.
And for anyone who knows Chicago Blues, the Brooks family:
Lonnie Brooks (he was the guy that got me interested in the blues at the Detroit Blues Festival in 1991). I think he pretty much retired now though.
His sons, Ronnie Baker Brooks and Wayne Baker Brooks.
I've seen the three play together twice. Amazing.
Bonnie Raitt is a good suggestion.
Again, nice topic.
Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

I know some will laugh at this suggestion but to me he deserves a nod just because of all the catchy licks he's come up with, and the many times he's made me tap my feet: Mr. John Fogerty. It would be special to see him at Crossroads, he deserves a nod. Between Creedence and his solo work, he's got a TON of great material. And I've seen him enough times to know he really brings it live.

George Lynch was actually at the first festival in Dallas, but was on one of the small stages. Jerry Douglas was at the first 2.

Robin Trower!!! He has worked with two of the same bassists as Clapton - Jack Bruce and Dave Bronze.

I agree with robslob on John Fogerty. His catchy licks, timeless lyrics and great live performances should eran him a spot. He's a legend. I'm actually amazed at the many negative references on this forum towards John Fogerty and CCR. For many of those negative references CCR aren't the ones to stick those to because it's corperate radio who's to blame for overplaying lot's of classic rock and neglecting other songs / genres.
And back to this lovely topic: regarding my own list i'm deeply ashamed i haven't yet mentioned the one and only
......NEIL YOUNG!

Larry Carlton and Jerry Douglas were both at the 1st one in Dallas '04.
Carlton had just cut Saphire Blue and played a lot of it. Great set.
I think Jerry was supposed to have his own set but was late so just sat in with James Taylor's band (along w Joe Walsh). He may have also sat in w Vince's Band.

Yep, he did sit in with both Vince & James and played great. As James called him, the Muhammad Ali of the dobro!!

Gary Clark Jr

Grant Green

John Scofield

Earl Klugh

Steve Kimock

Pete Townshend

Neil Young

Jackie Greene

Larry Campbell

Vernon Reid

jimmy Page,Tony Iommi-great choices though I doubt that'll happen.
maybe Martin Barre could be grabbed though, maybe. It would be nice to see more Brits here, there's lots of older talent there too. I think if Rory Gallagher were alive he would've been at Crossroads.
