Schaefer Music Festival-Done Somebody Wrong

thanks!!
any Duane vid is appreciated

Thanks for posting this amazing performance. I've seen this one, love valley, 9/23/70 Fillmore and several other snippets from the originals. Although I'm appreciative for what little we have it angers me to think there's probably a lot more somewhere.
Previous threads have asked this before , but where is the other footage? Gregg's solo video that was released last year showed some never before seen footage, Atlanta pop festival still hasn't seen the light of day and others mention some Fillmore video with Duane in the peacock shirt. It's just frustrating thinking that there's stuff out there that probably won't see the light of day.
Sorry for hijacking your thread.
Peace

Rumor has it that there is finally some real progress on this front. Just a little more patience. I know my own has worn pretty thin over this issue.

Wow, I really hope you're right dzobo. A bluray/DVD of all existing footage or something of that nature would be outstanding.

I’d love to see Duane as well as Chuck era video. As I’ve seen stated in the threads, why not?

That is nice. Brought back great memories of the REAL Allman Brothers Band. I can hear Berry Oakley's bass chomping down too. Those six guys had an energy and swing that left after Duane died and no other lineup of the ABB or any other band for that matter had that kind of energy coupled with being able to swing like a big band. The energy was lit by Duane. How do I know that? Because the band lost that after he died. The ability to swing like a big band was the unique chemistry that came from mixing the original 6 into one band and Jaimoe getting them to listen to Miles and Coltrane.

Wow, Duane sure am HITTIN" THE NOTE. Could 6/26 be even better than this???? Hard to imagine.
